I've grown up with dogs running around the house my whole life, and I've lived with all kinds of breeds and personalities, from small pugs and terriers to border collies and labradors. I'm comfortable handling excitable dogs who have a hard time listening, and while I'm not a professional trainer, I'm patient, calm, and consistent, especially with dogs. Your pup's safety comes first. I stick to safe, familiar routes and never take walks into unfamiliar or questionable areas. I'm also respectful of your property and your neighbors'. I always clean up after your dog, whether it's at a park, on a walk, or at your home, so everyone stays happy. If you have any questions or special instructions for your dog, just reach out. Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and your peace of mind come first. I always keep dogs securely leashed, stay alert to traffic, other dogs, and anything on the ground they shouldn't eat, and stick to safe, familiar routes. I pay attention to weather too, so walks are shortened or adjusted on hot, icy, or stormy days. I treat your home with the same care as my own. I lock up behind me, leave things as I found them, and keep you in the loop with updates and photos so you never have to wonder how things are going. If anything unexpected comes up, I'll contact you right away.

Alex took care of my dogs twice recently while I was out of town. He did an incredible job! He’s knowledgeable and attentive to them. It’s clear that he loves dogs and they respond well to him. He kept them healthy and happy while I was away and kept me informed of how they were doing each day. It was such a relief to know they were in good hands.

Schedule
I'm available for walks and visits starting at 5am, after my morning routine and taking care of my own dogs. I'm flexible through the day and can work around your schedule, so midday walks, afternoon visits, and evening check-ins are all easy to arrange. Just let me know what works best for you and your pup!

- To make sure your pup is safe and comfortable, it helps to know: • Personality and energy level: Are they shy, social, or a bundle of energy? Do they pull on the leash? • Triggers: Anything that sets them off, like other dogs, bikes, strangers, or loud noises. • Health needs: Allergies, medications, injuries, or anything I should watch for. • Feeding routine: What, when, and how much, plus any treats that are off limits. • Commands and habits: Words they know, where they like to sleep, and any quirks. • Vet info and emergency contact: Your vet's details and someone to call if I can't reach you. • Vaccinations: Up to date, so everyone stays safe at parks and around other dogs.
