I love dogs! I have grown up with dogs in my home my entire life, and I've never met a dog I didn't love. Leaving two dogs behind when I left home for college out of state was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Sometimes I miss them so much that I've been known to FaceTime my parents just to see my pups. Our current family dogs include a 9-year-old Australian Cattle dog and a 4-year-old Pittie. We also had an Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix who lived to be 12 years old. My family has always viewed our pets as family members, and I have always had a hand in caring for them, even as a little kid. When I care for your dogs, I treat them and love them as if they were my own pets. I am on call 24/7 when I am with your pet. I set daily recurring alarms on my phone for mealtimes and potty breaks throughout the day. Their happiness, safety and health are my top priorities. TYPES OF ANIMALS I HAVE CARED FOR: 🐕 Dogs 🐈 Cats 🐹 Guinea Pigs 🦎 Geckos 🐢 Turtles 🐟 Fish SPECIAL PET CARE EXPERIENCE: 💉I am skilled at administering oral and injectable medications. 🐶 I have cared for diabetic dogs and senior dogs that require a high level of care. 🐶 I can care for multiple animals at one time. My most frequent repeat client has an elder diabetic dog, two small toy dogs, and a turtle. I care for all of them when the family is away. 🐢 I can either stay in your home overnight or come for regular visits during the day. You decide what is best for your pet. HOUSE SITTING: In addition to pet care, I provide full house sitting services. I will collect mail/packages, put out & take in trash/recycling, and water indoor/outdoor plants, including grass. I am happy to stay in your home, or just come and go to check on it. The choice is yours. I know that leaving your pets for any length of time can be sad and stressful for both you and them. As I mentioned above, my two favorite pets live out of state. I will love your pets, care for them, and spoil them just like I do my own dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
When I'm at your house, my priority is to make sure your dog is nothing but happy. When it's nap time, they sleep. When it's mealtime, they eat. When they are outside, I will make sure they are taking care of their business safely and will play with them, whether that's with toys or running with them. If they like to snuggle, I'm happy to do that, too. The happier they are, the happier I am.

My dogs LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Alex. They even recognize his name. If I tell them he's coming, they get excited. It's no surprise. I've seen him interact with other people's dogs, and he loves all of them as if they are his own. He's the guy who can walk into someone's house, and a dog who normally growls or is shy around people they've never met, comes running at him with a toy. Dogs just know good people and recognize loving dog people. I hate leaving my dogs for any length of time. It's a gift when I know they will be loved and cared for at the same level of love and care (he might even spoil them more) that I would give them. My friend uses him to care for her dogs, and he gives one of her dogs his insulin shot every day. It's not everyone you can trust to do that. You are leaving your fur babies in responsible, loving hands when you choose Alex to care for them.

Schedule
This is my part time job, so your dog is my schedule and daily work routine. Whenever your dog needs care, that's when I'm there.
