I grew up in an animal shelter. Sounds crazy right? Well, it's true. My mom has always worked around animals(and still does) so I was always right by her side. Whether it be at animal shelters, helping with adoptions, walking, feeding, giving medications. Anything to be involved ! Then she became a Veterinarian. So of course, when I got old enough, I worked at her clinic. I've truely worked with animals my whole life and have always had animals of my own. I am currently working as an Animal Rescue Coordinator each day but would love to further my pet care business . My fur babies are my children and I treat them as so. You will always be able to find comfort knowing that I will treat your fur babies with the same love and care as my own! My favorite thing to do is spend time with my 3 dogs. A few things we love doing are going to the dog park, playing fetch, frisbee, going to the lake to swim, agility, hiking, and of course getting frozen yogurt! I would be more than happy to spend time with your pup doing these things. I'm sure they deserve it! I can't wait to spoil your pup and put your mind at ease knowing he/she is loved, safe, and happy while you're away. Your fur babies deserve the best!

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in my home/client’s home as if they were my own. They are allowed on furniture/beds if the owner is okay with this. I have doggy gates for separation of other animals if needed. Pets are never left unattended in my home. If I must leave for any reason, your pet must be kenneled in my home. In your home, I will adhere to your routine and guidelines of course.

Alex has watched my pets on multiple occasions and I trust her because I know my pets will be not only taken care of, but played with and loved by Alex. My 2 cats and brand new foster pup love her!
Alex is a great dog sitter! She is so good with them and they love her. I have a very large dog and also a very small dog and have been impressed with how she handles both of them. I know my fur babies are in good hands when we need Alex to watch them.
Alex is wonderful! She was amazing with our 150 pound neopolitan mastiff. I think he was happier to see her than he was to see me! You can tell she is a fellow dog lover, she showed our fur baby so much love and attention. She is extremely responsible and trustworthy. Anyone would be lucky to have her.
Alex is such a wonderful dog sitter! She has watched my chiweenie and basset hound many times. They have a relationship with her, and they cannot wait until the next time she watches them.

Schedule
I currently work part time in VetMed so my schedule is fairly flexible. I have a small hobby farm of my own with several different types of pets that I love caring for. However, I love working with other pets and providing an established routine and relationship, as well. I will be available most weekdays and some weekends.
