Loving pet-care couple!
Hi, we’re Alex and Caitlin — a couple in our late 20s with a big love for animals! 🐾 What sets us apart from other sitters is the hands-on experience we’ve built up over the last five years living with and caring for dogs. I (Alex) spent two years living with my sister and her dog, and then three years living with friends and their two dogs, where I regularly helped with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care. This gave me experience with different personalities and energy levels, as well as the patience and consistency dogs need. Caitlin grew up with a dog and five cats. Together, we’re reliable, caring, and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and part of the family while their owners are away. We both work part time so we might not always be available but just pop us a message.

This was our schnauzer's second stay with Alex - and as before, when we picked her up she was happy, relaxed and clearly very well looked-after. Great to get updates about her while we're away, too. We couldn't be more chuffed with the care shown to her.
Alex and Caitlin looked after our 5yo Std Schnauzer for 10 days or so. On our return she was happy and healthy and full of bounce. We got photos and updates while we were away, and looks like she was v chilled between all the walks. Would def send her to stay with them again.
I’m very happy with the service! Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I received regular updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. My dog came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would definitely recommend this Alex and will happily use their services again in the future.
Superb sitting, as always :) my cat was happy and calm when we got home & the house was very well looked after. Thank you!

Schedule
I work part time, which means I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My girlfriend, Caitlin, works from home, so there’s almost always someone here to keep your pets company and ensure they’re happy and well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my routine—whether that means regular walks, playtime, or simply being around to provide companionship. I really enjoy having that structure in my day, and it gives me the chance to focus on each pet’s individual needs.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in our home, we make sure they have a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment. We have a fully fenced back garden, which is perfect for supervised playtime and exercise. We stick to each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, and rest, and we give plenty of attention, play, and affection. If we're caring for pets in their own home, we follow the owner’s instructions carefully, making sure their pets feel safe and comfortable in familiar surroundings while maintaining their normal routine.
A typical day
We love keeping pets happy and active with plenty of fun activities. With dogs, that might mean walks, playtime in the fenced back garden, fetch, tug-of-war, or practicing tricks. For pets who prefer a calmer pace, we spend time giving them gentle attention, cuddles, and enrichment games to keep them engaged. We always tailor activities to the pet’s personality and energy level so they feel both stimulated and comfortable.
