Hello! My name is Alex and here is a little bit about my experience: While I have been pet sitting for as long as I can remember, I have about a decade of dedicated care. I have spent the 3.5 years as a veterinary assistant/technician and recently left the field to pursue non-profit work. However, I am still excited to be pursuing pet sitting within San Francisco and weekly volunteering at Muttville as my dedication to animals is still as strong as ever. I have experience in fear free handling, medication and IV fluid administration, animals with disabilities, senior pets, and puppies/kittens. While I do work during the day, my job is flexible and I am available for morning and evening drop ins, overnights, and house-sitting, based on your preferences. I hope to meet you and your pet soon!

Respect and communication are key. I will treat your space with the utmost care. You're pet will be the number one priority and with that comes the space they live in. I want clients to know that they can contact me at any time and I will be available immediately to address any concern or question.

Great petsitter! My cat Cherie loves the attention. Plus I had an unexpected neighbor cat that was still there the entire time and Alex was so kind to care for him too, huge thanks for that. I know Bronco Catsby will be forever grateful he did not have to wait out his time in animal control (SF animal control are super awesome but it’s scary there for cats!)

Alex was an outstanding sitter for our 12 year old dog Dakota! She gave lots of updates, kept our house very clean, and most importantly Dakota clearly loves her. We will absolutely book her again when we need a sitter!
Alex is an excellent sitter! She so clearly loves animals and was so gentle and patient with my shy cat during drop-in visits. She was also very communicative and sent lots of photos and videos. I would definitely recommend!

Schedule
I am currently working full time, Monday - Friday, 9-5PM. I am available on weekends and most holidays. I am available for morning and evening drop ins from Monday- Friday.
- Catsalex can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or requirements. With recent background as a veterinary technician, I am skillfully trained to administer medication and recognize signs and symptoms of medical issues.
