The most important thing is knowing boundaries. Let me know what lines the pet doesn't want crossed, and we'll get along famously! Beyond that, it's nice to know ahead of time their usual temperament, so that I notice them acting off.
A typical day
Back when I lived with my father and his dog, we would drive out to a dog park and let him go crazy! Outside time should be as liberating as possible, so I like to walk around engaging places, especially parks and other areas with greenery.

I've found I have a gift when it comes to getting along with animals. I was cat-sitting for my neighbor as young as 15, and that cat was scared of EVERYTHING. After a few visits however, we became good friends!

Alex was wonderful! I needed a dog sitter at the last min and Alex was able to come for a meet and greet the same day and was very patient with my dog who was a little shy at first. My dog hasn't had an overnight sitter outside of my family before so I was a little nervous about leaving him, but Alex did a fantastic job. He responded to my messages quickly and sent cute photo updates.
Alex was amazing! Excellent communicator and great at interacting with our very standoffish cat. Came home to a clean litter box and a happy, fed cat. Will definitely be using him again for future visits for our cat. Thanks Alex!
