Animal Lover Misses Caring For Own!
My name is Alex and I would love to care for your furbabies as if they were my own! I host one family at a time (up to three pets from the same family). This ensures a premium experience for your pet that is calm, friendly and enjoyable. I do not have children or any pets of my own-this way I am be able to maintain a stress free environment for your pet to avoid any anxiety or nervousness around children or new animals. It is my job to put you and your pets at ease while you are away or busy. I want to ensure a stress free experience for all. 🐾 I will always be around to supervise the animals while I petsit! I offer a happy and calming experience for your pet in which they will enjoy lots of attention and cuddles/playtime from me or naps and comfort time and relaxing music should they desire. I’ve taken care of a number pets throughout my life. I grew up with small terriers and had fish too. Friends animals were always like my own. I adopted my beloved cat Calvin when I was 21 and in December 2022, 11 years later, he passed away leaving a hole in my heart. He had many health problems such as asthma and IBS, for which he was on several daily medications. This taught me to administer oral medication in pill pockets and use an inhaler attachment for him. I miss being around animals in general now that he’s been gone. I am looking so much forward to being able to provide boarding in my lakeside home. At this time, I’m not able to offer housesitting, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks! Kindly note: * if your dog has a history of aggression towards people or has indoor accidents frequently I will not be able to host them. *Experience with breeds such as greyhounds, who may need a more quiet atmosphere

Safety, trust & environment
The fenced yard is big enough to run around supervised and also has tiered retaining walls. I also have a separate area for a cat(s) and a walk in closet style litter box “room”. I have plenty of toys, treats and catnip. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding, very happily offer drop ins house sits and walks!

We are so grateful for Alex! She was so calm, reassuring, and responsible. Aesop can be a bit difficult but he clearly had an amazing time. She sent us daily updates with pictures, and was very accommodating when we were running late due to travel delays.
Alex was wonderful . She was able to accommodate us on short notice and took such excellent care of our 9 year old dog Joey. Kept us updated with photos and was able to help out with administering medication. Very convenient pick up /drop off and beautiful lakeside property with a secure fenced in dog area . Will definitely be using Alex from now on.
Alex took good care of my two dogs. She is friendly, easy to communicate with, and sent photos of them throughout their time with her. We would feel comfortable leaving our dogs with her again in the future.
Alex watched our bernedoodle Stanley during our wedding weekend and we could not be MORE THRILLED! Hands down the most incredible pet sitter we’ve every worked with and it was clear how much she loves working with furry friends. Thank you for all of the photos, videos and texts while we were exchanging vows - we are beyond grateful!
Alex was absolutely wonderful with my two greyhounds. I was so incredibly impressed with not only her care but that she did a little research about the breed before their stay with her. She sent lots of photos. It was obvious they immediately warmed up to Alex and her comfy couch. I’ll have no hesitation having them stay with her again.
Alex was a fantastic sitter for our pup Murphy. She regularly provided updates and pictures of their adventure in the morning and the evening. She was super responsive whenever we messaged first. Murphy always seemed to be having a great time with Alex. We cannot recommend Alex enough, she’s a true dog lover and will make you and your pup feel so safe and cared for.

Schedule
I am available consistently at the moment as I run a part time home business. 24 hour consistent time with your pet is ensured. If they wish they can also sleep in the bedroom/bed.
