Monday through Friday, I work remote from 9-5 so it’s easy to plan my day to be at my client’s house for the majority of the day as needed, particularly for overnight bookings. My work is flexible that way, so you get the added bonus of me staying in the home for a portion of the day outside of my normal commitments. In the evening, I train jiujitsu but can otherwise plan to be in the home after a couple of hours of training. Weekends are a premium, but with advanced booking, it’s easier to schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow clear instructions, and like to take breaks to make room for play time/attention while I work from home. Dogs get a walk on my lunch break. Kitties get a little extra love! Describe the needs of your pet, and I will do my best to accommodate!
Information Alex B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has special needs. I follow instructions clearly and communicate frequently, particularly if I have questions. Sending photos and videos of your pet is part of the fun and sometimes we get some great images.
A typical day
I love to feel connected with animals and help them feel loved while their “parents” are away. Providing a safe space that stimulates, loves, and nurtures is important! Walks, random bursts of play time, pets, treat-training (appropriate to feeding schedule) is fun, a great way to bond, and helps the pet with the absence of their human! I also like to send regular pictures, videos and just give general updates so if you prefer a consistent communicator - I'm your girl. I ask a ton of questions and like to make sure I'm handling things well for everyone involved.

Pets
A home without pets isn’t a home!
Pet care experience
I’ve always felt a kinship to animals and love the bond that can grow between us and furry friends. I grew up with dogs (3 Rotties) and I've always managed to have at least one cat in my life as my bonded buddy. I don’t have a space where I can keep dogs, so the opportunity to fill my heart with furry friends is exciting and deeply fulfilling.

Alex took great care of our two cats while we were away! She stayed overnight and the house was in great shape, but more importantly we came back to happy and well-cared for kitties. She kept us updated and sent many photos, which made us happy. We will definitely book with Alex again!

Alex had impeccable communication! We felt completely comfortable with her watching our girl so we could enjoy vacation. She respected our home and left it in great shape. Can't recommend her enough!

Alex was very communicative throughout her stay with my dog, and made sure to send plenty of updates and photos which I appreciated! My dog Luna takes awhile to warm up to new people and within a day, it seemed she and Alex were already buds. Luna is also a runner, and Alex made sure to keep her safe and not allow her to get loose, which is always my main concern! I appreciated the continuous updates and it made me feel better about being out of state traveling. Thanks, Alex!
