Does your pet get along with other dogs? Is your pet crate trained? Is your pet spayed/neutered? Does your pet suffer from any separation anxiety? Is your pet up to date on veterinarian recommended vaccinations? Is your pet up to date with flea and heartworm medications? Are there any behaviors we should be aware of? A typical day
During your pets stay we will have activities with the pack such as playing fetch in the play park, tug-o-war, basic training with treats or simply running and chasing each other around the park as dogs do, friendly dogs are a must! In addition to your dog being friendly, we ask that your pup be crate trained or tolerant, does not suffer from separation anxiety (ie can be left alone without whining/crying), or been boarded before without issue. A tired dog is a happy dog!
Pet care experience
Thank you for considering us! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog. When staying with us your dog will have a balance of exciting play and rest throughout the day. Our structured routine ensures they get the exercise they crave to be happy and the rest they need to stay healthy. To ensure your dog has the best experience, we ask that they be socialized, crate trained or tolerant, and should not suffer from separation anxiety when alone. This is to ensure they can relax comfortably and not disrupt other dogs or the household during downtime. Doggy Den: To keep your pup safe and comfortable during their stay we have a dedicated space we call our Doggy Den. We utilize pens or crates and each one includes bedding, water and food bowls. We provide a safe, calm space for them to call their own. This helps them relax and recharge for the next play session in the doggy play park. We also show DogTv and have a noise machine to dull any outside noises. Doggy play park: Fully fenced dog run lined with cedar wood chips. Great space to run, chase and play! Fully lit for nighttime play sessions. Meet & Greet: We would love to meet you and your dog(s)! During the meet and greet we introduce ourselves and the dogs, talk about what to expect and cover any other questions you may have. We conduct our meet and greets in our backyard dog run, so you can see where they will spend their playtime and outdoor breaks. We schedule a 30 minute appointment for meet and greets, please let us know if you're running late or early. Thank you! **THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR STAY** PLEASE BRING a quick release collar & leash. Harnesses are not preferred as they will not be removed. BOARDING OVERNIGHT: Provide your dog’s food in pre-portioned baggies for each meal, per dog. If they are taking any medications or supplements, include them in the baggies if possible. We have everything else, but you are welcome to bring a clean blanket if you like. Please utilize a smaller hanging bag for your dog’s items, as we have limited space. We appreciate your cooperation! RESERVATION TIMES are treated as appointments. If you need to change your appointment time or will be more than 10 minutes late or early from that time, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, however we cannot guarantee our availability on short notice. ** Drop-off/Pick-up HOURS** Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm Saturday: No Service, boarded dogs should be dropped off or picked up on either Friday or Sunday Sunday: 9am - 4pm We are closed for drop-offs & pick-ups on: Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
Reviews

Alex and Amanda always take good care of my boy. I'm so grateful to have a safe and fun place for him while I'm away. Thank you both!

Alex and Amanda take such good care of our pup. They’re sensitive to the dynamics between all the dogs they care for and facilitate social time to make sure everyone’s feeling safe and having a good time. Our dog loves them and responds very well to them. We’re so happy to be able to leave her in such good hands!

Caring and attentive. I would highly recommend Alex and Amanda.

As a husky owner, I tend to feel anxious about where our two huskies stay and who takes care of them while we're away. Our usual boarding kennel was full during the holidays, so I had to turn to Rover. I feel so fortunate for finding Alex and Amanda! What stood out the most was just how much they prioritize safety for the dogs. I felt so at ease during our meet and greet and during our time away. Will definitely be booking with them again in the future! Looking forward to the next one!
