WFH dog mom caring for your pet fam
Hello! I am a WFH dog mom who wants to provide the best care for your pet family! I grew up with 3 dogs: 2 small terriers mixes and 1 large Weimaraner, all rescues. I currently have my own dog, a 12+ year old chihuahua mix, and he has been a part of my family for 9+ years. I work 100% remote which is ideal for pet parents who want to provide their animals with all day care and companionship. All I ask for is reliable WiFi. I am also a graduate student at Portland State University. This means I have evening classes 3 nights a week. We can discuss this more upon booking. I practice: -positive reinforcement to modify unwanted behaviors and/or to reward good behaviors. -open and honest communication so I will be more than happy to keep you regularly informed about your pet's behavior. I can provide garden and plant care as a free perk! I will water and monitor your plants while you are out of town, just tell me about your watering schedule and other plant care needs.

This was my third time booking with Alex! She is a wonderful sitter. Alex followed my directions for taking care of my two cats and sent lots of photos of them while I was away. My place was kept nice and clean and she even watered my plants. There was a late night neighborhood emergency and she responded to police activity and handled the situation promptly. I am so grateful for her cat care, trustworthiness, and responsibility!
Alex is an amazing sitter. We always know our pets are in good hands when she is taking care of them. She sat for our dog and cat on our wedding weekend and gave us such peace of mind on a very busy weekend.

Schedule
During the week: I work from home full-time, but I have a few openings in my schedule that are perfect for check-ins and/or walks. The maximum would be 30 minutes. Weekend: open availability for check-ins and/or walks. I can dedicate 1 to 1.5 hours to your pet depending on your needs. Overnight/in-home pet sitting: having me stay over will provide your pet with the company and companionship they need. Because I work from home I can take my work anywhere as long as there is reliable Wi-Fi.

- Please let me know about any quirks your dog may have. Such as: only pet with one hand at a time; has or doesn't have cues for wanting to go outside; are they on special diet; do they have allergies; do you want a report of any behaviors; etc. I want you to feel comfortable informing me about your dog. They are your family and I want to care for them just like you would.
