Hi, I’m Alex – a genuine animal lover with a soft spot for both cats and dogs 🐾 I have a gorgeous Cavapoo called Poppy, who is 6 years old and very much part of the family. When I’m dog sitting, Poppy is well looked after at home by my daughter, so I can give your pet my full attention and care. I’ve got hands-on experience not only with my own dog, but also from looking after friends’ dogs while they’ve been away on holiday. I’ve also lived with cats and regularly helped friends by feeding and cat-sitting, so I’m very comfortable with both. I’m 48 and work remotely as a graphic designer, which gives me a flexible schedule and a calm, patient nature – perfect for caring for animals. I also love spending time in Brighton, so long walks, fresh air, and happy pets are very much my thing. Your pet will be treated with the same love, care, and attention I give my own.

Alex was perfect. Really friendly and accommodating with planning, very easy to talk to. She's obviously a real animal lover, Omelette is a bit of an awkward dog at the best of times but made fast friends with him and understood and dealt excellently with his reactivity issues. We got regular photos and updates and could see he was having a great time. On top of that Alex left the house completely spotless and put the wash on before she left which made a much softer landing for us coming back from holiday. I couldn't recommend Alex enough.

Alex has looked after Cooper several time, he loves her and is always pleased to see her so we never have to worry that he wont be happy while we are away. Alex is a real animal lover & we know that Copper is well looked after & has lovely walks. I am more than happy to have Alex staying in our house and it is alway lovley & tidy when we get back.
Alex was great with our dog Olive :) she gave her a lot of affection and took her on plenty of long walks whilst we were away. She also sent us a lot of photos throughout and Olive looked soo happy! We highly recommend her care :)
Alex is a very reliable and caring person. She loves animals and our cat Juno adores her. I feel confident leaving Juno with Alex and I know she will be well looked after. Alex is trust worthy and is an excellent communicator.
