Important information would be the dog’s temperament, if they are house trained, little quirks, any medication, and if they have a specific routine I should follow.
A typical day
Depending on the area and the dog’s friendliness with other dogs/people, I would take them to a nearby dog park, take a hike, walk along a sidewalk, or play with them the a backyard if the owner is fine with it.

Pet care experience
I’ve had all sorts of animals from small to big since the age of 7. I currently have a German shepherd mix, and he’s been with us since March 8th of 2021, having the time of his life. I’ve had my share with senior cats/dogs, as well as being able to handle oral medication and specific routines.

Aletris was wonderful with my cat Lucy. I really appreciate the care she took with her. When you have to be away from home, it makes all the difference to have a trusted caretaker for your pet.
Aletris cancelled day 1 and day 2 ON day 1, when I was halfway to North Carolina. Then she cancelled the last day, 2 nights beforehand. Thankfully my neighbor covered day 1 and 2 just before he left for his own vacation. My daughter had to drive 45 minutes to cover the last day. It was a nightmare and caused me a lot of unwanted anxiety on my vacation. If a sitter has last minute issues, Rover should be responsible for finding a substitute, but they don’t assume that responsibility!
