Retired and ready for walkies!
After many years in the corporate world, I recently retired and decided it was finally time to do something I genuinely love, caring for dogs. Dogs have been a huge part of my life, at one point I had four of my own. Caring for them through every stage of life has given me extensive hands-on experience particularly with rescue and senior dogs who need extra patience, understanding and care. Although I am new to Rover, I have spent many years looking after friends' dogs while they travelled, I understand how important it is for owners knowing that dogs are safe, relaxed, cared for. Your dog will stay in a spacious four bedroom house with a large secure garden. Dogs are welcome throughout the house, this is very much a home from home environment with no restrictions on where they can relax or sleep. There are comfortable dog beds around the house, plenty of sofa options if they prefer or my own bed if they so wish. I am fortunate to have four parks within walking distance of my home but I also regularly drive to larger walking areas and country parks where there is more space, quieter routes and plenty of shade during warmer weather. The walks are always tailored to the individual dog I am caring for. The younger and energetic can enjoy adventure walks, while older or senior dogs are given a gentler pace with shorter but more frequent walk. This is not just a business venture for me, it's an opportunity to spend time doing something I really love, giving dogs a caring comfortable home and their owners complete peace of mind. i almost forgot, I am insured and DBS checked.

From our first meet with Alessia, we immediately felt confident and reassured leaving Kimchi in her care. She is clearly an experienced dog owner who is interested in getting to know each dogs individual needs and quirks. Kimchi had a wonderful sleepover with Alessia. She was completely spoiled with lots of lovely walks and cuddles. She will be excited to come back for her longer holiday in a few weeks!
I cannot recommend Alessia enough! She is caring and considerate and I’ve never felt more at ease leaving Willow in someone’s care. We had a couple of meet ups before her stay to make sure Willow was comfortable and Alessia kept me updated throughout. The only thing I was worried about was that Willow might not want to come back home :)
It was such a pleasure meeting Alessia. It’s not easy to find a dog sitter you genuinely feel comfortable leaving your dog with, but from the moment we met her, we knew Kosmo was in great hands. Alessia has been incredible—professional, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She made us feel completely confident that Kosmo would be looked after as if he were her own. We will definitely be using Alessia as our regular sitter and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for true peace of mind, professionalism, and exceptional care for their dog. Our Penny had a sleepover with Alessia in preparation for our holiday booking. Penny was instantly settled and relaxed. It is clear that Alessia loves dogs! Communication was excellent. Schedule
I am at home full time so fully adaptable to your dog's routine. I do have my own dog, she gets two walks a day. The boarded dog would have a minimum of two walk as well, more if needed.

4 bedroom house in Brockley with large secure garden. Many parks all around me. I very often head off to Kent for adventure and beach walks.
