Alessia was really quick and clear in her correspondence. Asked all the questions I’d expect her to ask to make sure she knew Astras likes, dislikes and needs. Very friendly and accommodating, she explained how her home would be Astra’s home for the night. Alessia was also very much tuned in to the extreme hot weather, and made sure Astra was exercised early in the morning and, temperatures permitting, again in the evening. She messaged through Astras stay to let me know how she was. I could tell she had a great time given all the licks Astra gave Alessia when it was time to come home : ) Wouldn’t hesitate to have Astra will with Alessia for a sleepover again.

Our Labrador Penny had a fantastic day with Alessia. Communication was excellent, with updates along the way, and flexibility offered around times at short notice. Penny was taken for 3 walks. Alessia is a treasure, and we are going to book Penny in with her regularly. I highly recommend Alessia.

I can confidently say that pet care is not simply an interest for Alessia — it is an area of genuine experience and expertise. Over many years she has owned, trained, and cared for multiple dogs, developing a deep understanding of dog behaviour, routine, exercise requirements, and the importance of calm, consistent handling. She is naturally patient, attentive, and completely dependable around animals, including dogs with strong personalities or more demanding temperaments. What has always stood out to me is the level of care and responsibility she brings to every animal she looks after. Alessia treats dogs properly — not as accessories or occasional commitments, but as animals that require structure, affection, exercise, attention, and trust. She understands the importance of keeping owners informed, being punctual, and creating reassurance for both pets and their owners. I still trust Alessia with my own dogs, which is the strongest endorsement I can give anyone. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending her to any pet owner looking for someone experienced, trustworthy, caring, and genuinely capable of providing safe and loving care.

What can I say, having known Alessia for over 18 years I cannot recommend her highly enough as a pet sitter. She has a genuine love for animals and treats every dog, cat, bird, fox (you get my drift!) with patience, kindness, and care. She is reliable, responsible, and completely dedicated to the wellbeing and safety of the pets she looks after. What really stands out is her commitment to animals and the people around her. She regularly helps friends, neighbours, and members of the community who need support caring for their pets, and she never lets an animal down. Whether it’s daily care, companionship, walks, feeding, or simply making sure a pet feels safe and loved, she always goes above and beyond. Any pet owner looking for someone trustworthy, passionate, knowledgeable and dependable would be lucky to have her care for their animals, I know we are.
