Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade.

Safety, trust & environment
A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

Alessandria kept my three dogs for a week. They were all fine when we returned. Regular updates were sent with pictures. The house was clean when we returned home. I would definitely use her again.
Alekx was an amazing dog sitter! I came home to a clean, tidy house that looked exactly the way I left it. My dogs were happy, well cared for, and it was clear they had received lots of love and attention. She sent daily photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I had also forgotten to ask her to feed my fish, but she took the initiative to check with me, and I really appreciated her thoughtfulness. I would absolutely recommend Alekx to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and proactive pet sitter. I would happily book with her again!

This is our second time using Alekx she does a great job with our dog. Always sends lots of pictures, very communicative. She even fixed our back door that we couldn’t get to close. She also tidied up around the house and left it cleaner than it started. Awesome sitter!!!

Alekx has stayed with our puppy twice now and was amazing! Very patient with puppy energy. We also came home to a pup who had been taught a few new skills and Alekx even gave our pup many hand me down toys from her own dog, some of which are our pups new favorites! Our dog hasn’t been alone yet, and Alekx was great about staying with her and even took her out to a park.

Schedule
I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about.
