Hi, I'm Alessandra! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I cared for everything from turtles, a bird, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits to two Golden Retrievers. Today, I have a cat and Golden Retriever of my own, so I know firsthand just how much our pets are a part of the family. As a Rover-user myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust to care for your pet. I also know that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m always happy to tailor my care accordingly. I work remotely and am based in Newtown, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule for house sitting and/or walks and drop-ins throughout the day. I’m reliable, communicative, and mindful of the little things that make a big difference - following your routine and care instructions, respecting your home, keeping your pet comfortable & happy, and sending plenty of updates along the way. My goal is to make sure you feel just as comfortable with me caring for your pet as I’d want to feel with someone caring for mine! I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care, so my priority is making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable. I’ll take the time to understand their personality, routine, and needs, while paying attention to the little things (securing gates & doors, keeping items out of reach, etc.) that keep them safe and happy. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands and getting plenty of love and attention!

Schedule
I work remotely from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins. I also offer house sitting, and since I can work from almost anywhere, I’m able to spend plenty of time with your pets and keep their routine as normal as possible while you’re away. My schedule varies week to week, but I’ll always communicate my availability upfront and make sure I can accommodate your pet’s needs before accepting a booking.
