I have taken my pup here two times now, and there will be many more. They send photos throughout the day of her playing, and I can tell she has the best time. I was worried about leaving her when we go on weekend trips, but this sitter makes it easy on my puppy momma heart!! ❤️

Kyle and Alessandra always do such a wonderful job watching my pup. She’s always so happy to be with them. We wouldn’t have anyone else care for her. 🩷🩷

Safety, trust & environment

We have a large, fenced yard where dogs can run around and play with each other. We normally have a few dogs here, so there is always a friend your dog can play with! When dogs get tired of playing outside, they go into their own large kennel (4x4 ft to 4x8 ft) to rest up, eat, and take a break. This is in a heated and air/conditioned, brand new building right next to our house! Very small dogs, under 15 lbs or so, play and hang out with our own dogs. All our dogs are around 10 lbs so, being very small, they are not allowed to play with larger dogs. We live on an acre of land and own goats, which keep the dogs entertained as well!

Pets

A typical day

Activities we engage in with the dogs really depend on their needs and personality. Most dogs get along with others and have a blast running around and playing with each other. We give them plenty of opportunities to do that throughout the day. We have a few that are obsessed with playing catch, so we make sure to do that with them. Then, there are the shy or anxious ones that need more alone and/or one-on-one time. We are able to accommodate taking them out by themselves and spending extra time to help them feel more comfortable. When the dogs are outside, they are constantly supervised and Kyle does a great job of helping them all get along, and, for those they need it, learn doggy social skills!

We need to know if your dog is nervous around other dogs, or not friendly towards other dogs. If they ever showed signs of aggression towards other animals and people. It’s also important for us to know if your dog is crate trained. We allow the littles that spend time in our house to get on our couches, so let us know if you want us to keep your dog off the couch.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
