I am a college student home from school and have extreme flexibility with my schedule. I have a car, so I can drive to your house to take care of your pooch as needed at almost any time between 8 am and 6 pm.

The most important thing for me when taking care of pets is their comfort. As much as I love to cuddle our fur babies, if they don’t like physical touch I will give them their space. I am happy to play tug of war, fetch, and even let them chase me around outside (I understand needs change depending on the breed). I feed them as instructed and on schedule (having trained myself to resist even the cutest of puppy eyes begging for extra treats) and make sure they only get what their owners have left for them to have. I also love taking dogs on walks for exercise, both for their sake and my own!

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, dietary restrictions, health issues, special needs, or if there are any areas of the house/area where they cannot go. I also would love clear instructions on feeding time and bathroom policy, since I know some dogs go in front yards, others in backyards, and some only on walks!
A typical day
I love to play tug-of-war if they enjoy playing with toys, and fetch if they prefer to be outside! I am also always happy to play “wrestle” with dogs who like to practice pouncing, especially puppies! I am happy to walk dogs who need more structured outside time, too, and cuddle with the ones who just want to relax and be petted.

I have had dogs in my house for as long as I can remember (since I was four, to be exact) - I know how to deal with the barking, gently wrestle a leash onto the wriggliest of pups, feed them on schedule even when they beg for early dinner, and give them all the love they could possibly need. I have walked, fed, and cleaned up after my dogs for years, and I am so excited to get to do that for other pups too!
