I’ve cared for dogs through every stage of life—from energetic puppies who needed patience, consistency, and structure, to senior dogs who required extra attention, gentleness, and specialized care. Most recently, I helped care for my family’s dog throughout her senior years until the end of her life, which taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and paying attention to the small changes in a dog’s behavior and needs. I’m a very patient, responsible, and caring person, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I also believe walks should be enjoyable for them, not just exercise, so I let dogs safely stop and sniff as much as they want. It’s great mental enrichment and lets them experience the world at their own pace. My goal is simple: to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and excited to spend time with me.

I travel frequently for work, so it's important to me to have someone I can trust to care for my pup, Kenan, when I'm away. Alessa has cared for him during my trips, and I always know he's in great hands. She makes sure he gets plenty of walks, sticks to his routine, and gives him lots of love and attention. One of the things I appreciate most is that she sends me regular updates and photos while I'm away, so I always know how he's doing. Every time I pick Kenan up, he's happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alessa to anyone looking for someone who is reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely loves dogs. If Kenan could leave his own review, I'm pretty sure it would be five paws out of five!
I wholeheartedly recommend Alessa T. to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter or dog walker. Since I adopted my dog, Bella, 11 years ago, Alessa has always made time to care for her whenever she visited from New York. Bella absolutely adored Alessa, and it was easy to see that the feeling was mutual. Alessa is incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive. She always spoke to Bella in a calm, loving voice and naturally understood how to make her feel safe and comfortable. Even while working remotely, Alessa would make it a priority to take Bella on two or three walks a day because she knew how much Bella looked forward to them. Whenever I needed to be away, I had complete peace of mind leaving Bella in Alessa’s care. She is responsible, dependable, and follows instructions carefully while also paying close attention to a pet’s unique personality, routines, and needs. Bella’s excitement whenever Alessa was around made it clear that she was one of Bella’s favorite people. Beyond being wonderful with animals, Alessa is kind, thoughtful, and reliable. I have no doubt that she will provide every pet with safe, loving care and every pet parent with excellent communication and dependable service. I recommend her without hesitation.

Schedule
I’m currently between jobs, so I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. Rather than trying to fit walks or visits around a busy workday, I can focus on each dog’s routine, whether that’s longer walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or simply providing companionship. I also recently lost my family’s dog, so I truly miss having a dog in my life. Pet sitting is a meaningful way for me to stay active, spend time outdoors, and give dogs the love and attention they deserve while helping provide peace of mind for their owners.

I understand that every dog has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, so I always take the time to follow the owner’s instructions carefully. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize safety, consistency, and making the dog feel comfortable. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, avoid unsafe situations or interactions if needed, and pay close attention to their behavior and energy level. At home, I make sure they have fresh water, follow feeding and medication schedules exactly, provide plenty of attention and enrichment, and keep the environment clean and safe. I also believe communication is important, so I’ll keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.
