Hi, I'm Alena. I love all animals and am experienced with dogs, cats, fish, small pets, and more! In the past, I have pet sat in neighborhoods, walked dogs, and volunteered at the Virginia Beach SPCA. I’m experienced with most dog breeds, ages, collars, harnesses, leashes and more to give your pup the right care. I would love to walk or meet your dog someday when you need! I have cared for and fostered many kittens throughout my years fostering at Jax Humane Society and volunteering at the VBVA SPCA. I have had plenty of my own small pets and plenty of pups over the years. I love participating in the Dogs Day Out program and fostering when I am able. Your pet will be able to free roam the house, and access the doggy door to a good size backyard. I work most early mornings to early afternoons then I will home the rest of the time to give plenty of love and attention to them. Thank you so much for considering me to care for your pets!

This was our second or third time using Alena for our multiple cat home. We had moved since our last visit and she was more than willing to come by and check out the new place assess the new hiding spots prior to our reservation. The cats remembered her even the ones that are not very outgoing went out of their way to get pets from her. We have cats on different diets, meds and the tedious routine didn’t phase Alena. She has great communication, sends adorable pictures and is extremely thorough. We love and appreciate Alena.

Schedule
I will be home for the day! If I do need to run errands, I’ll only be out 2-4 hrs maximum. I love all animals and would love to care for your pets. Thank you for reading and have a great day!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I will give your pets the care they need within the familiarity of their own home or my home. They will have access to beds, furniture and doggy door if authorized by pet parent’s permission. I also have a spare room or spare crates if your pet needs a safe, enclosed space to chill.
Pets
A typical day
We can go for fun walks around the neighborhood or I can just drop in to make your pup has potty time, love/play time, and other necessaries. I am familiar with giving oral medications to cats and dogs. Ossy is a calmer boy that loves to play with others and can show them the way.
