For boarding, I provide a safe space and a pet bed in my bedroom, separately from my own pets. Dogs have free reign in the fenced backyard and enjoy walks around the neighborhood twice a day, ranging from 10 min to 2 hours, depending on their needs.

Hi, I’m Alena — a mom of four wonderful children, a travel enthusiast, and a lifelong animal lover. I grew up surrounded by pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs, and spent much of my childhood wishing I could be Dr. Dolittle. For more than a decade, I shared my home with three cats, and over the years I’ve gained extensive experience caring for animals of all ages and temperaments. I previously fostered dogs through Austin Pets Alive and have spent many vacations caring for pets through TrustedHousesitters. I’m comfortable administering prescription medications to both cats and dogs, as well as handling basic grooming needs. Today, I share my home with two cats and two dogs. For the comfort and safety of all pets, my dogs live separately from any boarding guests. Boarding dogs stay on the upper floor and do not interact with my pets. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets, get to know their unique personalities, and help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Alena took care of my house, my dog and my cat for 5 days in June. She is definitely an animal lover. My dog Luna took immediately to her. Luna slept in her bed and got all the snuggles. Alena submitted medicine to my cat and Piper liked her too. My house was in perfect order and I had no complaints. Alena was a good communicator from the beginning of our conversation, during my absence and after the sit.
I was thrilled to have Alena care for my dogs. She was even kind enough to accommodate 2 extra pups that needed a sitter which was such a load off everyone's minds. I felt confident everyone was in excellent care so I could relax and enjoy my trip. I would highly recommend Alena and would have her back again
Alena was absolutely amazing caring for my two senior dogs! One of them still has a LOT of energy and can be very needy and Alena made sure he got the exercise and extra love he desires. My older 15 year old dog takes medication everyday, and can be very demanding about her long daily walks, which Alena handled expertly. It was so nice to be able to relax on vacation knowing that my dogs were loved, cared for, and in the best of hands. I absolutely recommend Alena to care for your beloved animals. And for frame of reference, I have a husky mix, and a German shepherd mix, and she handled both of these challenging breeds with ease.
Alena did a great job taking care of my two seniors by looking after them aside they were her own. She provided updates and gave insight into any issues that she found might impact them. She made sure I was aware of their care and how their day was going. That was truly appreciated. Definitely would recommend her and use her services again
