What sets me apart as a pet carer is the lifelong experience I have with animals — not just as a sitter, but as someone who has shared their home and heart with pets for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs almost all my life, from early childhood through adulthood, including providing a loving home for rescue dogs in need of patience and care, and a wonderfully spoiled Pekingese who knew he ruled the house! Alongside my canine companions, I’ve also cared for over 10 cats — each with their own personality, from shy and independent to playful and attention-seeking. Looking after pets, for me, goes beyond feeding and walking. It’s about building trust and understanding their unique needs — whether that’s keeping a nervous rescue dog calm with gentle routines, giving senior pets the extra comfort and care they deserve, or entertaining an energetic kitten with playtime. I’m experienced in administering medication, maintaining balanced diets, and ensuring pets get the right amount of exercise, all while showering them with love and attention. What truly sets me apart is the personal touch I bring — treating every pet as if they were my own, always ensuring they feel safe, happy, and at home. Emanual was very important to me, and I was always comfortable leaving him with Aleksandra. She was dependable, responsible, loving and attentive to his needs. I knew that he was safe in her care! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home with full flexibility, allowing me to structure my day around the needs of the pets I look after. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or regular walks, I’m always present and able to give them the attention they deserve. Living right next to the beach is a huge bonus — it means I can offer a variety of walks, whether it’s a short, playful stroll along the shore or a longer, more adventurous walk to burn off some extra energy. The fresh air, open space, and ever-changing seaside environment create a perfect setting for happy, active pets. Because I’m home throughout the day, I can easily adapt to their routines — from calming company for pets who prefer a relaxed pace, to interactive play for those who love staying active. Their comfort and well-being are always my priority!

When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel completely comfortable and at ease, treating them as part of the family. My home is spacious, giving pets plenty of room to roam, play, or find a cozy spot to rest — with no restrictions on where they can sleep or relax. Whether they prefer curling up on the sofa, stretching out in a sunny corner, or having a quiet space of their own, I make sure they feel safe and settled. Being just a short walk from the beach and a nearby playground means there’s always an opportunity for fun, whether it’s a brisk morning walk along the shore, a playful run, or a gentle evening stroll. For pets who love a bit of nature, there’s also an allotment space just minutes away, perfect for a sniff-filled adventure. I’m respectful of the home, keeping everything tidy and making sure the pet is happy, well-fed, and entertained. No matter the setting, my goal is always to create a loving, stress-free environment tailored to each pet's needs.
A typical day
A typical day starts with plenty of attention, a toilet break, and a walk tailored to your dog's needs and energy level. Living close to the beach, local parks, and wide open green spaces means dogs have access to a variety of exciting and enriching walking routes. Throughout the day, pets enjoy regular exercise, playtime, companionship, and lots of affection in a safe and caring environment. I aim to maintain each pet's normal routine, including feeding times, walks, and any special requirements. Owners will also receive regular updates and photos for complete peace of mind.
