I have hands-on experience caring for pets in their homes, with a focus on creating a calm, safe, and consistent environment. I’ve provided care for dogs and cats of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels—including puppies with lots of play needs and senior pets requiring extra patience and attention. I'm comfortable administering medications, sticking to detailed routines, and building trust with shy or sensitive animals. What sets me apart is my observant, gentle approach and my ability to truly connect with each animal’s personality. I’ve also worked in a dog daycare setting, which taught me how to manage group dynamics, recognize early signs of stress or tension, and support dogs through social play. On top of that, I’m a pet photographer, so I’m used to reading body language and creating positive, low-stress interactions—even with animals who are nervous around new people. Whether I’m popping in for a quick visit or staying overnight, I treat every pet like they’re my own—with respect, patience, and a lot of love.

Aleksandra took very good care of Bandit and also was great at communicating with me during Bandit's stay. She sent lots of pictures, communicated with me quickly when a minor issue arose and gave him lots of attention.

Schedule
Because I currently work part-time online with a flexible schedule, pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m able to dedicate focused, unrushed time to caring for cats—whether that means stopping by for a quick check-in, spending time with a pet who needs extra company, or maintaining feeding and medication routines throughout the day. My remote work allows me to be dependable and responsive, and I genuinely enjoy the balance of quiet computer time and meaningful, hands-on interaction with animals.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, consistent environment that matches the pet’s usual routine. I give each animal my full attention—making sure they’re fed on time, comfortable, and getting the interaction they need, whether that’s quiet companionship, playtime, or a nice brushing session. I’m also respectful of the client’s space, keeping everything clean and organized as if it were my own. At my apartment, I can provide a peaceful, safe space for pets who are used to a quieter environment. I live next to several parks and love going for walks, so dogs staying with me get plenty of fresh air, movement, and enrichment. I also enjoy building trust with each pet, whether that means helping a cat settle into a cozy nap spot or giving a dog a structured walk that meets their energy level.

A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level to make sure they feel happy, safe, and engaged while in my care. For dogs, that might mean long walks in nearby parks, gentle jogs, or games like fetch, tug, or hide-and-seek with treats. I also enjoy working on basic training and enrichment games that keep their minds active. For cats, I focus on interactive play with toys like feather wands or laser pointers, cozy cuddle time (if they’re into that!), and creating little enrichment moments like window-watching or puzzle feeders. My goal is always to make pets feel relaxed, entertained, and loved while their people are away.

- It’s important for me to know as much as possible about your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide the best care possible. This includes: Feeding schedule and dietary restrictions Any medications and how they should be administered Behavior quirks (e.g. fears, reactivity, or habits) Energy level and play preferences How they typically respond to strangers or other animals Any household rules you'd like me to follow (e.g. furniture boundaries, leash handling, etc.) The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more comfortable the experience will be for both your pet and you!
