Hi, we are Alejandro and Maria! Currently, we are students at the University of San Francisco and passionate animal lovers. Alejandro and I come from diverse backgrounds and cultures which provided us the opportunity to both grow up surrounded by pets like dogs, cats, and everything in between. Caring for animals has always been a big part of our lives. We have experience with all kinds of pets, including energetic puppies, mellow seniors, and even shy or nervous animals. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime, daily medication, or just someone to keep them company, we are excited to meet pets and help when needed. When your pet is with us, we treat them like family. For cat parents: We understand that cats have their own unique personalities and needs. We are gentle, respectful of their space, and happy to provide calm, consistent care whether your cat is social or more independent.

Maria and Alejandro did an amazing job watching and caring for our dog, Kona. He was so happy after a week with them and they were very responsive and accommodating.
Alejandro did a great job watching Penny while we were out of town!
Maria and Alejandro were so great with Enzo! They were communicative and kept us updated with photos. Extremely flexible when our flights were delayed and gave Enzo the best place to stay.

Schedule
As full time students at USF, we have flexible schedules that allow us to provide quality pet care throughout the week. Our classes are spaced out, which gives us time during mornings, afternoons, and evenings for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins. On weekends, we are even more available for longer stays or extended visits. We plan our schedules around the pets we care for, making sure they always feel safe, seen, and attended to.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether we are caring for pets in our home or yours, safety and comfort come first. In your home, we follow all your routines and instructions closely feeding schedules, leash rules, crate use, medications, and more so your pet can feel relaxed in a familiar space. We are respectful of your home and will keep things tidy and secure. We never leave pets unattended outside and always use secure leashes and harnesses on walks. We're happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident while you are away.
A typical day
A typical day includes morning potty breaks or walks, fresh water and breakfast, followed by playtime or a cuddle session depending on your pet’s personality. If we’re doing drop-ins or walks, we give your pet our full attention for that visit whether that is a long stroll and a nice long snuggle and rub! In the evenings, we provide dinner, another walk or bathroom break, and plenty of attention before bedtime. We love taking dogs on walks around local parks or the beach (if allowed), playing fetch, and working on basic training like sit, stay, or leash walking. For indoor pets, we bring their favorite toys and give them all the snuggles and stimulation they need. Cats enjoy playtime with teaser toys, window watching, and lots of gentle pets if they’re social.
