I currently work part time, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and flexibility to the pets in my care. Because of my schedule, I’m able to provide consistent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feedings, medication administration, and companionship throughout the day rather than pets being left alone for long periods of time. Animal care is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize in my daily routine, and I always strive to make sure each pet receives personalized attention, comfort, and a safe, loving environment while their family is away. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
I provide flexible, full-spectrum pet care both in my home and in clients’ homes depending on what works best for each pet and family. In my home, dogs have a calm, structured environment with supervised care, enrichment activities, and access to safe exercise. I also have access to a private dog park, which allows for secure off-leash play, enrichment walks, and controlled socialization when appropriate for each dog’s temperament and comfort level. For in-home care, I maintain your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walks, medication, and comfort habits—so pets feel secure in their own space while you’re away. I also work alongside my partner, a canine behaviorist, who assists with select bookings when additional support is needed or if I’m ever fully scheduled. This allows for consistent, knowledgeable care even during busy periods, especially for dogs with behavioral needs or those requiring extra structure and guidance. 🐾

A typical day
A typical day in my pet care routine is structured, calm, and centered around each pet’s physical and emotional needs. I start early in the morning to make sure dogs get their proper wake-up routine, including potty breaks and intentional morning walks that allow them to stretch, decompress, and start their day with stimulation and consistency. Throughout the day, I balance activity with rest—midday playtime and enrichment sessions help keep dogs mentally engaged and physically satisfied, whether that’s structured play, training reinforcement, or supervised outdoor time. I pay close attention to each pet’s energy level and personality so I can adjust activities to what they actually need, not just a one-size-fits-all schedule. Rest is just as important as activity, so I make sure dogs have scheduled downtime in a quiet, comfortable environment where they can fully relax and recharge. This balance helps reduce stress, prevent overstimulation, and keeps pets feeling safe, settled, and happy while in my care. 🐾

Pet care experience
I’m passionate about providing safe, personalized, and compassionate care for every pet I meet. My experience includes working at “You Work I’ll Play” dog daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels in both group and one-on-one settings. I’ve also completed a dog training apprenticeship with a focus on reactive and aggressive dogs, giving me hands-on experience in behavior management, body language, confidence building, and creating calm, structured environments for anxious or high-needs pets. In addition to professional experience, I’ve raised and trained puppies from a young age, focusing on basic manners, leash skills, crate training, confidence building, and healthy socialization. I understand that every dog is different, and I always strive to make pets feel safe, understood, and loved while in my care. 🐾

Reviews

Alejandro is an angel and a life saver, he was available and willing to check in on my dog Tank over the Memorial Day weekend and did an amazing job. Highly recommend!!
Alejandro is absolutely great with our pack of beasts. We know they can be a lot but he's always up to the challenge! For both short and long stays Alejandro has become our go to watcher.
Alejandro did an amazing job with my dog. While he was watching her, he noticed some behavioral issues related to her past. He offered to help train her, and he only needed a few meetups to improve her anxiety and her ability to listen to commands. He even gave me some tips to do at home to continue helping her when he's not around.
Jandro has been a 10/10 pup sitter for me and my fur baby nacho. Everytime I leave nacho with him I come back home to a happier pup who may or may not have learned a new trick or two.🤣 Least to say he's the first person who comes to mind when I need somebody to care for my little guy when I'm away. Thank you Jandro!!!
