We love in a home with a closed off backyard that has grass. You can rest assured your pup will be safe back there. I have a friendly medium sized dog, who’s crate trained. I can crate your pet or separate them if needed. Open to whatever your pets needs are and will try to stick to their own schedules and boundaries as needed.

THINGS I’D LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DOG: • Are they fixed? If not, do they show any dominant behaviors toward either/both, male or female dogs? • Any problem behaviors or preferences when meeting new dogs? •Do they have a dog preference? Energetic dogs or calm dogs? •What is their play style? Chasers, wrestlers, tuggers? • Do they give "corrections"? Occasionally or frequently? If so are there any specific instances you can recall. • Are they friendly with people? Or do they have a preference? •Do they have separation anxiety? If yes, how often and when do they exhibit said separation anxiety? For dogs from the same home, do they have separation anxiety when separated? • Are they aggressive towards dogs based on size? Male or female dogs? • Are they escape artists? •Are they territorial over food, treats, toys, people? •Anything that scares them, makes them anxious, or uncomfortable? • Are there any health conditions I should be aware of (such as arthritis, allergies, injuries with long-lasting effects, etc.)? • Do they take any medications? If yes, what is their medication schedule? Are there any negative side effects to be on the lookout for? • Is your dog microchipped? • Are their vaccines and flea preventatives up to date? • Are the care instructions provided on Rover.com up to date? • Who is your preferred vet? For dogs with constant health issues (ex. epilepsy, heart murmurs etc.) who is your emergency vet? • Who should be contacted in an emergency if you cannot be reached? DOG WALKING: • Are they reactive to dogs, skateboards, bicycles or people? • Are thev sensitive to loud noises? • Any leash aggression? • Any other behaviors, reactivity, I should be aware of before walking your dog(s)? • If you have preferences on their walking - in heel, right side vs left side, loose leash - please let me know before the walk. • Where they are permitted or prohibited to go potty? (I know some owners prefer their dogs to not go potty on the front patios or front yard of their apartments) INTACT DOGS: • I do not host any females while in heat. • If your intact male dog has dominant but not aggressive behaviors please provide thorough information of instances where he was dominant so I can be prepared and know what to watch out for. • If your intact male dog does in fact have dominant AND aggressive behavior towards another intact dog, they will not be hosted if I have another intact male dog present. • If your intact female dog has dominant but not aggressive behaviors please provide thorough information of instances where she was dominant so I can be prepared and know what to watch out for. • If your intact female dog has dominant AND aggressive behavior towards an intact female dog, they will not be hosted while I have another intact female dog present. It's rare for this to occur with intact females but can still be a possibility mostly when they are near their “heat” cycles MEET N GREETS: We don’t do them with our dog, mainly because he dog can be leash aggressive with new dogs. We don’t do on-leash meetings for the safety of both dogs. We’re working through this with our pup, BUT we have a tried and true method which we can further explain once booked. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for taking the time to read, and we hope to work with you and your pet ☺️

Pet care experience
We currently have a 3 yr old cocker spaniel/Aussie mix Beau and a lynx point Siamese cat Hammy! Ale loves learning about different dog behaviors and different training methods. Ale has a subscription to LA Pack Life dog training online and has been to one of Sam’s three day in person dog training workshops. She attends zoom meetings monthly to learn different ways of dealing with different issues dogs may have. We strive for a balanced and fulfilled pup and cat !
Reviews

Kevin and Alejandra took amazing care of my dog, Maki, while I was away for 11 nights. Maki can be shy at first, but they were so patient and welcoming — she quickly warmed up and had a great time! They kept me updated with regular photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. They even took Maki to the beach and on long walks, which she absolutely loves! Maki also got along really well with their own dog and cat, thanks to the thoughtful introductions Kevin and Alejandra made. I felt completely comfortable leaving Maki in their care and would absolutely book with them again. Highly recommend!

I had a short overnight trip and I needed someone to watch my dog. I chose them because they are close. Ended up it was a right decision. They are very nice. I got text with photos from them several times a day and my dog looks happy! I’m very happy for their service and I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend.

If you are in Long Beach area & you’re looking for a dog sitter or boarding for your dog but your really confused, Alejandra and Kevin should be your go to!! Me and my family took a 5 day trip on a cruise and it was very nerve racking trying to get somebody who you can trust but Alejandra made it so easy to feel comfortable when voicing my concerns. I really wanted my babies to feel like they were on vacation just as we were, and they did just that. We got updated pictures of them playing and walking daily which was amazing seeing how we were on a cruise with limited communication. All in all I give you guys a 10/10. If we are back in town and need a sitter Alejandra and Kevin will definitely be our go to sitter. Thank you soo much again 🫶🏽

Kevin & Alex were available on short notice and I appreciate that.. I wish that they would have walked a little longer, because the whole walk (2 of the days was less than 30 minutes, including the time it takes to get up to my apartment and then back down and out the gate.
