Hi! I’m Alejandra, a lifelong animal lover and mom to Ford, my Catahoula/German Shorthaired Pointer mix. Growing up around ranch life, I’ve cared for many different animals, so being around them has always felt natural to me. Because Ford is a high-energy working breed, I’m very comfortable handling active dogs that need structure, exercise, and attention. i’ve also had a miniature yorkie so have experience with small dogs as well - and well Ford is obsessed with all dogs! I provide safe, attentive walks and always prioritize your dog’s comfort, safety, and routine. I take daily walks with Ford who gets along with other dogs and cats. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or a relaxed stroll, I’ll match their energy and make sure they get the care they need. I’m reliable, communicative, and always send photo updates so you can see your dog happy and having a great time. My goal is simple: make sure every dog returns home happy, relaxed, and well cared for.

Alejandra has been wonderful with Cooper! She is caring, responsible, attentive, and always makes sure he gets everything he needs. Schedule
Im available all day on weekdays and sometimes during the weekends, which allows me to be flexible with exercise, pet care, homemade dog treat, and making sure your pup has a play and nap schedule. I enjoy staying active and getting outside, and I’m reliable about making sure dogs get the attention, exercise, and care they need.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and awareness are always my top priorities when caring for pets. I’ve trained my own dog, Ford, to stay calm and non-reactive on trails and around other dogs, so I’m very comfortable managing different situations during walks. Through that experience, I’ve learned how to read dog behavior and handle a variety of personalities—from high-energy dogs to more cautious or sensitive ones. Whether in my client’s home or out on a walk, I make sure pets feel safe, respected, and well cared for while keeping owners updated with photos and communication.

A typical day
A typical day includes sniff-filled walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles! I’ll follow your dog’s usual feeding and potty routine and tailor activities to their energy level. With your permission, we can explore Zilker, Auditorium Shores, or the Town Lake trail. If your pup prefers a slower pace, I’m just as happy keeping them company at home.
