I will treat your home as I do mine. I take pride in a clean living space! I will take care of feeding, and making sure they have water. I will ensure they have been walked, played with, have had treats, and are snuggled at night time! I can administer medication (pill form), if necessary.

Please let me know if there are any special accommodations for your pet that I should be aware of! I know how to administer medication orally and am very flexible when it comes to making accommodations!!
A typical day
I will always make sure they are stimulated physically and mentally! Typically I will walk them around 7or 8am, giving them a couple hours to digest the food they just ate! Playtime is super important so usually I set aside an hour for that around noon, along with treats! An afternoon walk usually happens around 3pm, and then dinner time around 5pm! They get another treat and half an hour of play time around 7-8pm and then bedtime! (This is completely up to owners preference - Usually I’ve had the dogs sleep in the room with me with the door closed, per owners preference, due to the fact that they will have accidents if they’re wandering around the house at night)

Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals of all kinds since a young age. I grew in a home with cats, and later dogs were introduced. However, outside of the home life I was surrounded by dogs! The daycare I attended had an in-home grooming service, and I got to help groom the 13 dogs that lived there! I’ve also been fortunate enough to be a part of the training process for some dogs that have been in 4-H! Finally to the good stuff; I’ve been a reliable dog/house sitter for the same couple for the last 5 years. In the span of those 5 years, they moved 3 houses, and so I got to experience first hand how upset the pups can get when their environment is changed. Some of the basic duties include feeding and making sure they have water, making sure they’re going to the bathroom regularly, being walked and played with regularly and cleaning up messes. Some additional tasks are taking them to their vet visits and administering medication (pill-form)!

Alei did an amazing job taking care of Theo! He was clearly well loved and cared for, and received lots of play time - she was very communicative, providing daily updates and photos, and he looked very happy and comfortable the whole time. This was our first time having a house sitter, but she set a very high bar - we strongly recommend her to anyone else considering using her services! We would be lucky to have her back :)
Alei was great at giving me daily updates on my fur-kids while I was gone, and kept the house clean and tidy for when I returned. I appreciated knowing she was taking good care of my pets and home!
