My wife, Stephanie, and I run this app together and work together to make sure your dog is well taken care of, while you’re away! Stephanie has been on Rover for over 7 years now, we decided to team up together on here since I work from home most of the time-it really is a team effort! We’ve watched over 50 dogs in our home over the years and have had so many amazing pups over the years! We are extremely flexible with our work hours and are available to give your furry family member lots of time and attention. Both of us had experience administering medications to senior dogs, assisting puppies potty training, assisted training for search and rescue, and we do our very best to make a low stress and comfortable environment for your pet! Stephanie grew up on a farm surrounded by many animals and has always had a passion for animal welfare. Not having a dog of my own, I enjoy meeting and taking care of all breeds of dogs (and cats) through Rover. We do have a cat named Fenton, and he is known as the Dog Whisperer, but if he doesn’t feel like being sociable, we have a kitty door he’s able to retreat when overwhelmed. We just welcomed the newest addition to our family, our son, Lochlan. He was born just five days after Christmas. 12/30/25. We won’t be accepting any animals that are “iffy” around babies, as I’m sure you can understand. We welcome dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds and will do our very best to give your furry family member the love and affection they deserve while you’re away. We cant wait to meet you and your best pal!

Hattie had a wonderful time with Alec and Stephanie, she came home tired and happy. Drop off and pick up went very smoothly. Alec and Stephanie are great dog sitters.
Our pups stayed a couple nights with Alec and Stephanie. When we picked them up it was obvious they had a great time and were well taken care of. They clearly had fun and I'm sure they would be excited to visit again. Alec and Stephanie will be our first call the next time we need to leave town. Highly recommend. Thank you!
My dogseemed to be happy during her stay, and Alec sent pictures throughout so I could see what swas doing. We were verfy pleased.

Schedule
I’m currently on paternity leave until June and then I’ll be in the office M-F 7:30-3:30. Stephanie goes into work 5am, comes home for an hour around 10am, then gets home in the afternoons, so we will be able to provide adequate exercise and attention while boarding your pup(s).

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard, doggy(baby) gates for certain areas. We are both CPR certified and have had training in large & small dog first aid.
Pets
A typical day
We can go to a few parks and walk around our neighborhood. We have a fenced in yard if your pet prefers that, or go on some runs together! We are active but will always put your pet’s comfort first, so if they only need a short walk and want to become a couch potato afterwards, they’re more than welcome.
