My home is peaceful, structured, and tuned into your dog’s emotional and physical needs. I only host one dog at a time, so their day is shaped around their unique pace—no overstimulation, no competing energy, just calm presence and intentional care. Here’s a general rhythm your pup can expect (with flexibility based on their needs): • 7:00 AM – Wake-up and gentle start to the day with a potty break in the backyard • 7:30–9:00 AM – Breakfast and quiet morning hangout (sunny windows, soft music, relaxed presence) • 9:00–10:00 AM – Morning outing: neighborhood walk or a peaceful dog park visit (only if your dog enjoys that kind of setting) • 10:00 AM–2:00 PM – Calm indoor time with backyard access, rest, and companionship while I work from home • 2:00 PM – Midday potty break and check-in • 2:00–5:00 PM – Restful downtime or light enrichment (snuffle mats, puzzle toys, snuggles, or just ambient togetherness) • 5:00–6:00 PM – Evening outing: second walk, fresh air, and gentle movement • 6:00–9:30 PM – Dinner, digestion, soft wind-down, and cozy rest time • 9:30 PM – Final backyard break before bed I’m present and engaged throughout the day, aside from short errands or gym time. If your dog enjoys car rides or outings, I’ll bring them along. If they prefer to stay home, I keep outings brief and return quickly. Your dog’s comfort, rhythm, and emotional ease always come first.

I offer calm, structured care rooted in presence, consistency, and gentle leadership. Dogs thrive when they know what to expect, so I maintain a steady daily rhythm with outdoor breaks, rest time, light walks, and quiet companionship. Because I host only one dog at a time, each guest has space to settle in at their own pace—whether they enjoy soft connection or prefer calm independence. I observe closely, adjust thoughtfully, and avoid overstimulation. My approach works best for mellow, house-trained dogs who feel safest in a peaceful, predictable environment. Care is hands-on, grounded, and centered on helping each dog feel secure, respected, and fully at ease.

To make sure your dog feels at home here and gets the care they deserve, it’s helpful to know a few things ahead of time. Every dog is unique, and I want to understand their rhythms, comforts, and any areas that might need extra attention. When reaching out, feel free to share: • Your dog’s energy level — Are they mostly mellow indoors, or do they need regular activity to feel settled? • How they do being alone briefly — I’m home most of the time, but I do step out now and then. • Whether they’re crate-trained or have specific rest routines — crates aren’t required, but it’s useful to know what they’re used to. • Potty habits — Are they fully house-trained, or do they occasionally need support with that? • Any chewing tendencies — Especially around furniture, rugs, or personal items. • How they handle transitions or alone time — If they’ve shown signs of separation stress (barking, howling, pacing), I’d love to know how you support them through it. • Any quirks or sensitivities — Are there triggers I should be aware of, like loud sounds, other dogs, or specific environments? • Leash behavior — Do they enjoy regular walks or need more support on-leash? • Off-leash preferences — Are they relaxed in open areas or fenced parks? • Their feeding routine and sensitivities — Schedule, preferences, or anything I should avoid. • Sleeping habits — Where do they usually sleep? Are they used to sleeping alone, or do they need company? Every detail helps me support your dog in a way that feels familiar and comforting to them. My goal is to meet them exactly where they are—with warmth, presence, and gentle structure. ⸻ Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy • Preferred drop-off (first day): 8:30–9:00 AM • Pick-up (last day): – Before 11:00 AM: Free – 11:00 AM–3:00 PM: Half-day fee – After 3:00 PM: Full additional night – Latest pick-up: 6:00 PM I can be flexible if you let me know ahead of time. ⸻ Late Policy Please arrive within your 30-minute window. • $10 per 15 minutes late Clear timing helps create calm transitions and sets your dog up for a relaxed stay.

Fun here is grounded in presence and natural rhythm—not overstimulation. Some dogs enjoy gentle enrichment like slow sniff walks, backyard play, or simply sitting in the sun together. For pups who are social, relaxed, and adventure-ready, I occasionally include peaceful outings to local trails or beaches—always guided by your dog’s personality, energy, and comfort level. Everything we do is soft, unrushed, and safe. Whether it’s watching birds from the yard, exploring new scents at their own pace, or simply relaxing nearby while I work, each moment is shaped around creating a calm, connected experience that supports your dog’s emotional and physical well-being.

Private 1:1 Dog Boarding
Expérience en matière de services dédiés aux animaux de compagnie
I offer individualized dog boarding—only one household at a time. If you have multiple dogs, I’m happy to welcome them all together. But I never mix dogs from separate families. Your pup(s) will receive calm, focused care in a safe and peaceful home. I’m an intuitive, grounded, calm person who genuinely enjoys the presence of dogs. I connect deeply with their personalities, sensitivities, and emotional worlds. I studied architecture and civil engineering, and spent years working on high-rises in New York. I’m now shifting into a career in art, and I work from home for several hours a day—so I’m here, fully present, and not distracted. Dogs ground me. I do this in part because I love having their company while I live and work alone. I own my home, a sunlit Victorian I bought two years ago in West Oakland. The space is open and bright, with beautiful airflow and a clean, minimal layout. No roommates, no other pets. ⸻ About the Space My home has great light, fresh air, and a fully fenced backyard. I’m just two minutes from a large dog park, and I shape the day around your dog’s natural rhythms—gentle mornings, relaxed walks, nourishing meals, naps, and affection when they want it. ⸻ My Daily Rhythm I’m home most of the day. When I go out, it’s brief—and if your dog enjoys car rides or outings, they’re welcome to join. ⸻ Thank You Thank you for considering me for your dog’s care. I understand that it is not an easy choice and I feel honored that you are considering me. This is something I do because I love it, and I want your dog to feel safe, seen, and fully at home.
Avis

This is the second time Albina has taken care of my dog and I cannot recommend her enough! She’s so communicative and caring, I am so grateful to have someone like her to take care of my dog when I travel… because of her I worry less and enjoy my vacation more!

Albina did such a wonderful job taking care of our senior dog Pepper while we were out of town for a few days. She was so kind and considerate about our dog Pepper. She was really easy to communicate with and gave us updates that helped put us at ease while we were away. Would absolutely recommend her to any pet parents.

Albina was once again a fantastic dog sitter for Margot! We will not hesitate to book with her again.

Albina was such a good dog sitter for our rat terrier Frannie! Frannie can be a shy girl and has a hard time eating in new places but Albina encouraged her and got her to eat with no issues! She sent frequent updates and took Frannie on some fun adventures. 10/10, we’ll be booking with Albina every time.
