Safety, trust & environment
I will always put your pet’s safety first. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to entrust your pet to someone else, especially a stranger, but I will do everything in my power to keep your dog as safe as possible.
Information Albany C. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know as much as I can about your dog ahead of time. If there is any and all information you find pertinent, like special needs, special requests, places where we should and shouldn’t go, any behavioral notes, please let me know! I want to provide the best, safest experience possible.
A typical day
I’ll walk wherever you live! I also always keep a bag on hand with a water bottle, paper cups to give your pets water, a mister bottle for hot days, an umbrella for rainy days, and plastic bags (though I greatly appreciate it when people provide their own). I’m pretty adaptable and can engage in most activities with them while reeling in behavior that might get a little too wild if it occurs.

Experienced, eager big dog handler!
Pet care experience
He/Him I grew up in the country and there was always at least two dogs in the house, sometimes three. I was born into a family with dogs always around and spent my whole life growing up with them, helping whenever necessary which was most often taking them on walks. I enjoy taking walks myself so going out with a dog is hardly a chore! I have the most experience with large dogs, as that’s what I grew up with, but I will happily spend time with any dog. The breeds of dogs I took care of growing up include: Australian Shepherd, mutt, Newfoundland, Siberian Husky, Golden Retriever, and most recently a Saint Berdoodle (heavy on the Saint Bernard side).

Reviews

My kitties really seemed to like Albany right away which is rare!

Albany did a great job caring for our two dogs! We had something come up last minute, and Albany was very helpful and responsive. We’d love to have Albany do drop in visits again. If you’re looking for a good sitter, look no further than Albany!

Albany was very conscientious and communicative. I appreciated his care and concern!

Albany was so great! Great communication, very professional!
