Availability
I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. Since I don’t have fixed working days, I can adapt my availability depending on your needs, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I usually prefer one to two weeks’ notice when possible, just so I can plan ahead and make sure I can give your pet my full attention. That said, I’m always happy to chat about last-minute requests and see if I can accommodate. I’m available for pet sitting in Glasgow city and surrounding areas that are reachable by public transport, and I always try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, because I truly enjoy this work.

When caring for pets, my main priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while you're away. I always start by getting as much information as possible from the owner (things like their routine, personality, feeding schedule, and how much exercise or playtime they usually like). This helps me keep things consistent and stress-free for your pet. For dogs, I love going on long walks and adjusting the activity level depending on their energy, whether they’re super playful or prefer a slower pace. With cats, I enjoy engaging them with small games, while also respecting their space and quiet time. When I stay in a pet owner’s home, I treat both your pet and your space with care and respect. I stick closely to your instructions, keep their routine as normal as possible, and I’m always happy to send frequent updates/have videocalls so you know how they’re doing. My goal is simply to make your pet feel happy and cared for, and to give you peace of mind while you're away.

I don’t just "watch" pets; I aim to be their favorite person while you’re away. Having grown up with dogs, including my uncle’s Black Lab, Stitch, who was like my own, I’ve developed a deep, intuitive sense of what animals need to feel safe and happy. What sets me apart is my undivided attention and sensitivity. I’m highly adaptable to an animal's specific "battery" levels. On one hand, I’m the primary playmate for my dad’s dog, Sonny - a typical hyperactive pup who rarely gets tired, but neither do I! I’m always happy to keep the game of fetch going or go for that extra-long walk😊 On the other hand, I have a deep soft spot for seniors. I have a "granny" cat back home (Sprite) who still thinks she’s a kitten, so I’m very comfortable providing the patient, tender care that older pets require. Whether your pet needs a high-energy workout or a quiet, calm companion to give them constant cuddles, I respect their routine and their character above all else. I began my dog-sitting journey at 18 caring for my neighbors' dogs, and I have continued it on and off ever since.

Alba has been fantastic. So lovely with my dog, reliable and has great communication. I felt my dog and my house were very much in safe hands with Alba.
Needed a sitter for our 15 mth old yorkie ( skye ) .so went onto rover and found alba profile so clicked on to message and was not disappointed as albas arrived before booking time .alba was very patient with skye as skye had never been left with anybody before and alba kept skye safe and happy and entertained until we got home . Alba is very kind and gentle and is well suited for our skye as she is a little drama queen ( spoilt ) .I think she would have given alba the run around but alba handled it so well with knowing how to deal with her on a natural level . Alba sent video and photos through out the evening and also messaged to say skye was happy and no to worry . I wasn't worried as I knew I had picked the right sitter . We arrived home to a happy yappy skye .alba is a genuine super brilliant sitter who i recommended for looking after your fur or feather pets .I will be using alba again .
Fantastic experience! Alba was reliable, friendly, and took wonderful care of my cat. The communication was excellent, and the house was left exactly as I left it. Most importantly, my cat was well-fed and happy when I returned. Five stars all the way!
