What’s most important for me to know ahead of time is your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs. This includes feeding schedules, medications, walking preferences, favorite toys or treats, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and safe. I also appreciate knowing about any quirks, fears, or habits so I can give the best care possible and make sure your pet feels happy and at ease from the start.
A typical day
A typical day with me starts with a walk to get some fresh air and stretch our legs, followed by breakfast and any needed medications. We’ll spend time playing with favorite toys, practicing good manners, or heading to a nearby park for sniffing, exploring, and more walks at their pace. Treats (with owner approval, of course!) are always part of the fun. Throughout the day there’s plenty of cuddle time, belly rubs, and relaxing together, whether that means napping, lounging, or just keeping each other company. In the evening, we wind down with another walk, more play, and lots of love to help your dog feel calm, happy, and right at home.

Pet care experience
I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature to me. In recent years, my childhood dogs have gone blind, and one is also deaf, which has given me extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs with special needs. So, I’m comfortable following strict routines for medications, eye drops/ ear drops, and I take great care in guiding dogs safely through their surroundings. I truly love animals and make a constant effort to show them affection wherever I go. Whether your furry family needs extra care, structure, or just lots of love, I treat every pet as if they were my own!

Alannah was amazing! She sent a nightly recap of the day with amazing pictures. She and her partner were such a great team, especially since Cooper was having a bad ear infection. They administered the meds with such patience, especially since my dog can be reactive around his face and ears. Alannah kept trying different techniques until she find a method that worked. She really went the extra mile, and I deeply appreciate her care and kindness with my pup. I highly recommend her!
Stanley looked like he had a great time staying with Alannah and Zach. I loved the updates where he was always happy and relaxed. Thank you for taking good care of him
I am SO thankful that Alannah was able to help us for a last minute booking! This was our first time using her, and I told her that she will be our “forever dog sitter”. I honestly think our dog was sad to come back home. They provided so many photos and updates. I couldn’t have found a better person to care for our dog.
Alannah is the best sitter we have had. Our pup is a rescue and is uncomfortable in some situations. Alannah makes accommodations for Ellie, and we always feel comfortable leaving her.
