Hi! I’m Alanna, a lifelong dog lover with both personal and professional experience caring for pets. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid and I’ve worked as a shift lead at a pet store for over 2 years, where I also handle dogs in the grooming department. This means I’m very comfortable working with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments including anxious or high-energy dogs. I have experience with handling, basic grooming support, and reading dog behavior, so your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away!

I always adjust my care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal schedule to minimize stress, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications or special instructions. I make sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment and provide regular updates. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment with constant supervision, regular potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. My experience working in a pet store and handling dogs in grooming has made me confident with a wide range of temperaments, so safety and comfort are always my top priorities.

Alana showed a calm demeanor that my 80 lb German shepherd puppy responded to very well. the meet and greet was a good idea. Alana and Freya enjoyed playing ball together and Freya was happy hanging out with her. I would definitely ask for Alana again.

Alanna did a wonderful job taking care of my Russian dwarf hamster Dumpling while I was away in South Korea. She was reliable, caring, and made sure she had fresh bedding, food, and water. Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work part-time and take most of my college classes online, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to be available throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets get plenty of attention and care.
