I tailor all my visits according to you and your cat’s needs. My own cats are very timid around new people, so I really value sitters who adjust to the cat and their needs. I’ve looked after and grown up with a variety of different cats and I am good at anticipating what they need to feel safe.

A typical day
Depending on the cat, I would give them lots of fuss and attention. Followed by lots of playing with different types of toys. If allowed I would incorporate treats into the visit (my own cats love to chase after treats).

Hi there, My name is Alanna and I am a research nurse in Cambridge. I currently live in Newmarket but I am originally from Lancashire. I have grown up with many pets over my lifetime from rabbits, to dogs, to cats. I love all animals but cats share a special place in my heart. So much so that once I got my own place it wasn’t long before my partner and I adopted two cats of our own; Bella and Albie. When we adopted them they were semi-feral but with a lot of love, time and patience they have come out of their shells and are now permanently by our sides. I know how stressful it can be leaving your fur babies at home and I understand how important it is to feel like you have left them in good hands.

I’ve booked with Alanna a few times, and she always does a fantastic job caring for my two cats. She leaves detailed updates along with plenty of pictures, which I really appreciate. Even when I leave a lot of instructions, she handles everything calmly and never seems overwhelmed. I always feel at ease knowing my cats are in great hands.
I went on a two week trip and was pretty nervous to leave my cats as one of them was only 6 months old at the time. Alanna was great and gave me updates and pictures for each visit. I’m very happy with the service she provided and will be requesting her to watch my cats in the future!
