I have experience with lots of different animals. Personally, I have had both a small and large dog, cats, a chameleon, and a gerbil. I grew up around cats and dogs and have been dog sitting my uncle’s two Great Danes ever since I was old enough to drive my bike across town on my own. In the past few years, I have watched dogs, checked on some cats, and taken care of a bearded dragon. I’ve taken care of dogs as small as 3 pounds as well and have puppy experience from my own dog (her names Ella, she’s the 80 lbs doodle in my pictures). I am close with family and friends who have angsty cats, grouchy little dogs, and an anxious, slightly reactive German Shepard. My reptile skills extend to crickets, mealworms, super worms, changing lights, and misting (all the things I learned from my chameleon Chandler).

I cannot currently host any pets because I live in a pet-free rental. That being said, I am open to house sitting and dropping in to care for your pets :). I am happy to follow your pet schedule and care for your pets according to each of their individual needs. I understand how stressful it can be for both you and your pet(s) to be apart.

Alanie is a great pet/house sitter. She sent pictures and kept us informed the entire time we were gone. It was a huge relief knowing Midnight and our home were safe and secure.
Alanie was wonderful to work with! She communicated with us about the dogs and even let our other sitters know the status of our dogs (she found a tick on one of them). She was always on time, and sent pictures and updates. I highly recommend!

She responsive with us, and sent pictures of all the pets. She also listened to all of our directions as they are very specific to meet the needs of our senior dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Alanie has always been very good with my animals! I have a pretty reactive German Shepherd and she was able to become best friends with her. This is stellar as this does not always happen with caretakers. I would recommend Alanie to anyone needing animal care because she has such a kind, caring nature and a bright, bubbly personality. Alanie has all my trust when it comes to my pets.

Schedule
I work a part time job and go to school full time, so my schedule is pretty flexible with time in the mornings, during the day, and at night.
