Animal lover and Rescue Worker
My name is Alani. I currently work at the Animal Rescue League of Boston as an Animal Care worker, and I am also a student studying Public Health. Before my current position at the shelter, my animal experience came from volunteering at various rescues in Massachusetts and Baton Rouge. Through those opportunities, I was able to gain experience working with dogs and cats of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments. At the ARL, my experience with companion animals has grown significantly and my skills center on force free, low stress care, positive reinforcement training, animal body language, medication administration and advocacy.

I will make sure to stick to your pet's routine and create a stress-free environment while you're away. I'm happy to follow any instructions you have to keep your pet comfortable and happy. My goal is to be attentive to your pet's needs and body language to make sure their needs are met with care and timeliness. I can also keep you updated with regular messages. I love taking cute photos of your pets, so you'll always know how they're doing.
