I have had my own cat with all the required responsibilities since I was 10 years old. I started taking care of my parent's cats and my friend's cats when I turned 18. I have volunteered at the humane society here in Birmingham and 2 other states caring for their felines. I can't wait to hear from you and your furry friend(s)!

I take pet care very seriously - I treat my cats like I would my children. Cleanliness and safety are priorities for me. I make sure to clean litterboxes/potty places regularly, as well as food and water bowls. I am familiar with animal body language and have experience with these situations.

Alana was absolutely wonderful watching my two cats while I was out of town for four days. She dropped in daily and sent fantastic updates and pictures each day, which I looked forward to and deeply appreciated. On top of taking excellent care of the cats, she went above and beyond by bringing my delivered packages inside so they wouldn't sit out on the porch. Alana is reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about the animals she watches. I will absolutely be hiring her again in the future!
Alana did such a fantastic job with our 2 kitties. She was always on time, and sent pictures and an update every single evening after she finished her visit. When an unexpected issue popped up with one of our cat's automatic daytime feeders, she handled it and sent a report so we would be aware of what occurred but also reassured that everything was back to normal. She remembered every single "extra" detail...and we all have them as pet parents, don't we? 😊 I would absolutely request Alana in the future to care for our babies. If you're on the fence, let this review be the one that confirms it. Alana is the right choice!
Alana was a pleasure to work with! Alana got lots of info about our kitties before starting starting, making sure they would be well taken care of during our trip. Alana was timely when completing check-ins and gave a lot of details about each visit. She took the time to play with them and made sure they were comfortable. We will certainly be asking her to come back next time we go out of town!
