I care for pets in my home alongside my mother who also lives here. That way there is always someone home to take of them if one of us has to step out. Our daily routine depends on the dogs' needs, which can be discussed upon booking. We can regularly visit the local parks, go for walks on the 606 trail, or sit and cool of in the air conditioned home.

I will follow whatever directions you leave for your dog while in my care. I also bring plenty of treats with me during my visit so let me know if they have any restrictions.

A typical day
Typically dogs will be inside. Although we do not have a yard, the dogs are free to access our fenced patio. We have a spacious home where dogs can be seperated if needed, but doggy residents will typically reside on the first floor (away from the cats unless otherwise approved). I love to have fun so there will be plenty of play and summer outings with owner approval. If I leave to go somewhere during housesitting bookings I can bring your pet along with owner approval. Or we can sit in a nearby park for a while if the weather is nice.

Pet care experience
I’ve always loved dogs and knew I wanted to work with them in the future. I have volunteered at local shelters since I was in high school. I have three years of working in a professional dog daycare. I was also a volunteer at a local shelter where I would take shelter dogs to training every week to help them find their homes! I treat every dog I work with as my own. I would love to have fun with your dog or just keep them company for a while! Also open to other pets. I have experience with deaf, blind, disabled, and senior dogs as well as administering medications. *currently only taking dogs up to 30lbs

I recommend Alana because she is the best pet caregiver I know! She is responsible and loving to all pets. She is amazing with dogs and takes care of my cute little puppy very well. She is like a dog whisperer. There is no one far more reliable, credible, knowledgable in taking care of pets than Alana. I know I am putting my puppy in very good hands and makes me have one less thing to worry about when I'm out.
Me and my furry baby Winter loves Alana! She watches her while I go on business trips and Winter loves her. She makes sure that Winter is walked multiple times a day, entertained, and keeps up with her daily activities so she doesn’t miss a beat while I am gone. She treats Winter like her own and is so loving to her. Me and Winter have had our fair share of pet sitters but we have found my permanent friend with Alana!
