Full time pet lover!
I am originally from a rural, farming community in northeastern Colorado. I grew up around livestock of all kinds and cats and dogs (and reptiles) of my own. I started to care for neighbors’ pets and animals in high school. I moved to Cedar City in 2017 to attend SUU and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Communication in 2022. My own home is very full of love, I have pets of my own and married my husband in 2024. I have shared my services with the Cedar City area on Rover since 2018. I genuinely love and remember every pet that has ever been in my care! If you see me around town, I may not recognize you without your pup! I am a girl of many hats, always keeping busy with different areas of work but my schedule is always flexible to meet your needs! I’d love to get to know you and your pets. I am excited to get to know your pets and give them all the love and care they need.

l like to follow everyone’s routine but do appreciate if flexibility is specified and allowed occasionally. My goal is to limit any possible anxiety you or your pet may have.

I very much appreciate how tuned in to my cats leads and feelings. Her conscientious care of him makes it much easier for me to leave on a vacation. The house is always in good order when I get home, and she even bought me a container for my cat food after my cat got into the packaging. I don’t like thinking about the mess she had to clean up. I am so glad to have her as my cat’s sitter.
We always feel comfortable having Alana watch our dogs and know she will take good care of them. She provides updates at least once a day and communicates well if there are any issues. One of the best dog sitters!
I was gone for 10 days and came home to very happy pets! Alana did everything I asked and was super communicative. I will definitely hire her again!
Alana is so great. We get nervous leaving our dogs, especially our older lab, but she makes them and is so comfortable. She even got our older lab to play with a toy, which is very unusual! 10/10 recommended and we will book with her again.
Another great, last minute experience with Alana! Thank you for your flexibility and always taking excellent care of Fletcher. He’ll be happy to see you again in a few weeks!
