Pet care experience
There is no substitute for the love of a pet owner, however, when you are unable to be home and need care for your pet, what I provide in services of drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting is the next best thing. I have owned various types of pets throughout my life. These pets ranged from a bearded dragon, cats, dogs - of varying sizes, and a few other species in-between. I do not shy away from large or muscular breeds of dogs, and if relevant, the same standard applies to cats as well. I love to stay active in my personal life and will bring that quality to the engagement with your beloved pet(s). I look forward to engaging in their needs and provide speciality care if needed. I cannot wait to meet them!

We truly cannot say enough good things about our experience with Alana! From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing our pets were in such caring and attentive hands. She went above and beyond with daily communication, sending thoughtful updates along with plenty of photos and videos. One thing that especially stood out was how observant and proactive she was. She noticed one of our dogs was licking excessively due to allergies and immediately reached out, offering to give her medication and making sure she was comfortable. It was clear she genuinely cared about our pets’ wellbeing. She also treated our home with respect and care, taking care of everything as if it were her own. Coming home to happy pets, a spotless house, homemade brownies, and a sweet card was such an unexpected and thoughtful touch. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, compassionate, and genuinely amazing with animals, we would recommend her a thousand times over. We will absolutely be booking with her again!
We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Alana. This was our first time ever using a pet sitter, and naturally we were a bit nervous leaving our pets—and our home—in someone else’s care. From the very beginning, Alana went above and beyond to put us at ease. She met with us twice before our trip, taking the time to really understand each of our pets’ needs, routines, and personalities. By the time we left, we felt confident they were in good hands—and by the time we returned, Alana felt like part of the family. She cared for our energetic young dog, our elderly little dog, and our two cats (including one who needs a daily pill) with such attentiveness and genuine compassion. It was clear she didn’t just “check the boxes”—she truly invested time in bonding with each of them and tailoring her care to what they needed individually. While we were away, Alana sent frequent, thoughtful updates filled with photos and videos that brought us so much peace of mind (and a lot of smiles!). Our pets looked happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. It meant everything to us to see them so comfortable in her care. We even had a neighbor—who has experience with multiple pet sitters—comment on what an incredible job Alana did, especially with our young rescue dog. They were so impressed by the time and effort she put into walking her and working on her behavior. Alana is professional, warm, reliable, and incredibly thoughtful—not just with the pets, but with the humans too. As a sweet and unexpected touch, she even left us a delicious homemade treat when we returned home. She has truly set the bar incredibly high. We would recommend Alana without hesitation to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets like they’re her own. Honestly, we think our pets might already be looking forward to our next trip—just so they can spend more time with their new friend.
Alana was fantastic with our two dogs! She kept us updated with photos throughout the week and we came home to two happy pups and a clean house. She's reliable, caring, and we'll absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!
Alana was the most WONDERFUL pet sitter. She took care of our cat while my wife and I were on our honeymoon, and we couldn't be happier. She sent so many great updates, photos, and videos of our cat throughout the 10 day trip and eased all anxiety about leaving our kitty back at home. Our cat loves her and so do we!!
