I’ve cared for animals my whole life, from cats and dogs, to horses and chickens. I currently have a 7 year old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix named Legend. He typically is with me for all of my bookings, and loves making new friends! I have professionally and personally boarded, walked, and cared for dogs. I also housesit on a regular basis. I have a patient and kind demeanor that works well with any temperament/energy level. I realize that each dog has a different unique personality and needs, and know how to understand and work with them. I love hiking and being outdoors, so being able to work and do what I love while helping animals is a passion of mine. I would love to meet and care for your pet, whether they need just a walk, or day care/boarding! Please feel free to message me with any questions.

Alana P. cancelled a booking 5 days before it was scheduled to begin.
We needed a dog sitter while on a cross country trip and attending a music festival. Alana was patient with our ever-changing schedule and we picked up happy and tired dogs ready for the rest of our journey.
As always, Alana was amazing with Steverino. He loves it at her place!
Alana came recommended by some friends in the area. We had traveled specifically to a show at The Gorge also needing a place to home our lab for the evening. Drop off and pick up were super easy and Kona had a blast. We will definitely use Alana again if given the chance.

Schedule
I’m currently a full time grad student online, and I also work from home, so I’m able to keep a flexible schedule whether you need me to watch your pup weekdays or weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard and the kitchen cupboards are puppy proofed. My dog legend is also a friendly and active good boy that’s with me on most my bookings, and loves making friends!

A typical day
I love hiking and long walks at the park! And nothing beats a good game of fetch:) the backyard is huge so I let the dogs run and play to their hearts content while taking in the scenery of the lake and ducks.
