I am a huge pet lover! I grew up in the outskirts of South Texas with various pets (i.e. chinchillas, geese, horses, cats, dogs, etc.). I love working breeds, but couch potatoes are just as perfect and loveable! ❤️🐾 Added Note: I do have plenty of experience caring for dogs of multiple breeds and sizes. Some of my experience stems from previous workplace experience at a luxury daycare/boarding facility in Downtown ATX. At times I would care for 20+ pups within a single room, alone. Scenarios such as this one and many other factors contributed to my decision to transition to taking care of our furbabies at a more personal level—via Rover & outside of the application.

Safety, trust & environment
When it comes to client's home, I make sure I have an understanding of the environment and doggos in order to be prepared to provide the best service possible. My own home is extremely spacious. There is lots of nature in the surrounding area. It is a gated apartment located on the 2nd floor. I have a spacious balcony that’s tailored to the pups (my dog loves to people watch). Depending on the weather outside, I may sit out there and watch the pups relax on a cot with a cooling mat for them. There is natural light & your pup or kitty can feel free to people watch whenever desired! Pets are free to roam as they please, and I will make sure to always keep a close eye on them. Because I reside in an apartment, rest assured I will be giving your pup(s) multiple daily walks throughout the day. If the day is cool enough, your pups and I may also seek an adventure at a trusted park (or trail) then end the day with a pupcup!

Schedule
I prioritize providing at least 2 walks and occasional breaks throughout the day for pups! My own dog is walked at least 2-3mi a day. Short trips to a dog park or a safe playing area for some playtime varies depending on your pups temperament. I love to plan fun activities that suit your pets energy level and temperament. … the treats, cuddles and lots of love are part of the bundle! 🥰 On weekdays, I continue to provide daily walks. Early morning walks/runs are my specialty and usually longer (~45min-1hr+) in consideration of the Texas heat! At 3pm a short walk or break is taken followed by a potty break around ~6pm. Later, in the evening (8pm or 9pm-ish), I provide a ~30min-45min walk depending on temperature outside or other activities that may have your pup tired. Rest assured, your pet(s) would absolutely be receiving extra love, pets, cuddles, and attention! I'm currently recovering from an injury, but I am focused on regaining my flexibility. Remaining active through providing care is a great way to slowly progress without overexertion, and my boyfriend will be assisting with hands-on care as needed (sorry in advance if your furbaby falls in love with his scratches and infinite pets) . We're both animal lovers, and we won't charge extra for providing 2 humans for the price of 1. **If available on Rover over the holidays, pet care services are FT. Feel free to ask for my schedule or other specifics when reaching out so there’s no confusion in terms of caring for your furbaby!

I understand if the pet industry may have failed you and your furbaby in the past. Please disclose any information you deem necessary and express any/all concerns you may have or ask more. I am trained to administer medications both orally and subcutaneously.
