Dog Heaven in Darlington
I love devoting my time to dogs. Fi and Bluebell have grown up together and they are very adaptable to new dogs and I think the socialisation is good for all! Of course my two dogs do come first which is why I like to do a meet and greet beforehand to see if they would all get on well at home. I have two children under 4 so it’s essential that your dog is good with children. However, interaction will always be supervised. During the week I work from home, with occasional trips to the office. At the weekend I am able to dedicate my time better and maximise TLC, whilst chasing the kids around too. As I have my own two dogs, I only accept one dog per booking so from the meet and greet, you can get a good idea of what your pooch will be up to with me. I do prefer small dogs as a rule, I am open to others depending on temperament and age. My two girls are senior dogs now so I need to respect their space too.

My boy Charlie spent 2 days with Alana while I was away with work. We had a meet and greet beforehand to make sure the dogs got on well together. Then I dropped Charlie off for his stay and I was pleased to receive updates letting me know how he was getting on and photos to show he was enjoying himself! Alana was friendly and easy to communicate with. I’d definitely recommend!

Alana looked after my two very different personality dogs for a week while I was on holiday. She kept me updated with lots of photos and messages and I am sure they enjoyed their stay with her and her own two lovely little dogs. Would highly recommend.
Alana and family were so lovely. Rocco didn’t want to come home after a week with her! I will be asking her to dog sit again on our next holiday.
Pippa had a great time on her overnight stay with Alana and her doggies. We will definitely book in with Alana again!
Alana was fantastic with our little boy Geno. He has a bit of anxiety and she was extremely kind and patient with him. She sent us several updates and it was obvious she really cared and wanted Geno to be happy and comfortable. We will definitely book with Alana again!

Schedule
As I work from home, I am able to commit time and company to the dogs. This is with regular walks, toilet breaks and affection.

Safety, trust & environment
I have my two dogs to keep your pet company, and a fully fenced safe garden which mine love to sunbathe in. I have stair gates as well. I am flexible on sleeping arrangements. But my two sleep downstairs in the kitchen.

A typical day
We usually have breakfast early and get out for a walk or go to a local park with the kids in tow as well. This is followed by lots of affection and naps.
