Hello, my name is Alana and I am so glad you have considered me to watch your fur baby! For over a decade I have taken care of almost every animal under the sun including dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, chickens, cows, and so many more! What sets me aside from others is my love for all animals, and my dedication to ensuring their needs are met.

Safety, trust & environment
When taking care of your fur babies, their safety and mine is always my number one priority. In order to maintain a safe environment, I suggest that we schedule a meet and greet before the day of the service request. This way your pet will know me, easing some tension when you are gone. Furthermore, when in your home I ensure that I remain calm and follow directions as laid out by you in order to fulfill your pets needs.

Alana was wonderful to work with! She was very responsive and communicative throughout the stay, sending daily updates and photos which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She took great care of our pets and helped them feel comfortable. She also left the house very clean, even doing more than we would’ve expected. She was also incredibly flexible when our travel plans changed due to flight issues. We’d definitely recommend her and would love to work with her again!
Alana was very professional, observant and attentive to the dogs. They can be a little skittish and nervous with new people but she was very gentle with them and helped them feel at ease. She even noticed and let me know about a health issue for one of my dogs, which I really appreciated.

Alana was right on time for multiple visits to care for and check on my big Akita/husky pup. She sent pictures of him playing on each visit and sent me texts updating me on his status. Couldn't ask for better!
Alana has owned snd responsibly cared for animals her whole life. She is always showing them love. It does not matter what kind of animal or where she is, Alana can be seen giving the animals some love. No stray has crossed her path that she hasn’t taken in and worked tirelessly to find the owner. When there has been no luck, she has added to her family! There’s no worries about your pet being safe and well cared for with her.

Schedule
Currently, I attend Saginaw Valley and am slowly earning my bachelors degree in social work. I currently work at a crisis residential home taking care of individuals in mental health crises. I work 12 hour shifts and would be away from the home around 13 hours when I work. I am able to request time off with enough time in advance. If your pet requires more frequent visits, I would suggest contacting a sitter who can accommodate this.
