I am an experienced dog sitter and walker comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and needs—from chihuahuas and terriers to Belgian mals and Great Danes. I have been caring for friends’, clients, and my own furbabies since floppy disks were in-use, dial-up was still a thing, and low rise jeans were in vogue. I have a big goofy Samoyed myself and promise to treat your pet with the same loving care I do my own! I have experience taking care of puppies, senior animals, and pets with special medical or behavioral needs. I will check in with owners on how I can maintain good behavior, training, or health while they are away. I am very active and can take your dog on longer walks or even runs through the neighborhood. I always confirm a pet’s comfort level and fitness first with the owner.

I offer overnight sitting in your home, scheduled drop-ins, and walking. I try to give care as similar to what you do for your pet, to provide a sense of normalcy for your furbaby while you are away or at work. I always confirm if your pet has any special needs or concerns, etc while you are gone so that I can take safe care of your pet. Let me know how often you would like to hear from me. I am very communicative and will send regular photos, videos, and updates if you would like to know how your furbaby is doing!

Alana cared for my three animals multiple times while I traveled for work - and she was my best and favorite pet sitter by FAR. My two, very spirited Irish Setters were no match for Alana's energy and she played with them in the yard until they were pooped! She also enjoyed cuddling my geriatric cat and sent me photos of her purring in the sun. Alana followed their feeding schedule, and even took the extra initiative to water my plants for me as a courtesy. She is incredibly professional, arrives on time, and does exactly what she says she will do (and more). I highly recommend her to anyone in search of a responsible pet sitter. Your fur-babies - and your home - will be safe and sound with her!

I am very used to handling dogs with special needs including: - medical issues - reactive dogs - anxious or shy dogs - active dogs - senior dogs - puppies I aim to closely replicate your dog’s normal routine as much as possible, so the more details you can provide the better. For example, 6 am morning walks, dinner at 5 pm sharp, obligatory cheese tax, regular housewives marathons…just let me know!
