It’s very important for me to know the pets energy level and temperament, any fears or triggers (ex. loud noise, other dogs), dietary restrictions or allergies, habits (ex. escaping, chewing). Anything that is important for your dogs safety and mine as well!
A typical day
I like to keep pets active and entertained, so I’ll take them on walks, play with their favorite toys, or do games that give them a bit of mental stimulation. I try to engage them in positive enrichment activities and keep them active.

Pet care experience
I absolutely adore animals of any kind, from rodents to the biggest of dogs! I have always had dogs throughout my entire life and I have also fostered a puppy which was an exciting first experience. As of for the summer, I can work full-time. Though, once August comes around I am going to be a full-time college student and I will be able to do part-time then. Other than that, I am free most of the time and I am very flexible with my hours. My home consists of lots of open land for my dog to run around in! I spend lots of time training my dog all the tricks he knows.

Alana was reliable, consistent and responsive to my requests for my cat. She sent pictures for every visit and communicated regularly. I hope to have Alana pet sit again for me in the future!!

Alana was wonderful with our dogs! Prompt and dependable arrivals for drop-in visits. Very communicative to me with regard to the details of the visits. Pictures sent were great! I could see how much my dogs warmed up to her. I would definitely book with Alana again. I knew my dogs were in great care while I was away.
Alana was great with my two kittens! They loved her and she kept them happy and healthy while we were gone. There were no issues and she even was able to sit longer due to a delay in our return. I highly recommend her. She’s awesome. Also the pictures she took were adorable and I looked forward to them everyday.
