Pet care experience
Playful, pup-spoiling furdad to 2!
Been around dogs my whole life, but currently a dad to 2 and love meeting new pups! My partner and I foster when we're able to and our pups are former fosters/ rescues. Genuinely love spoiling, training, saving and generally being around doggos. Tend to make a lot of homemade treats and love taking the pups on hikes. Happy to house pups while their humans are away, and feel very confident in being able to provide a great environment for their stay.

Thank you very much for spending time with Zoe

Alan was great and Zoe was so excited when he arrived each time

Alan took great care of Zoro during his first week away from his family. We received multiple photos, updated, and even videos daily sharing updates about Zoro. It is evident that Alan cares deeply about all the pups. We really appreciate the time and effort he took to ensure Zoro’s comfort and happiness. Alan made sure Zoro ate, even to Zoro’s picky diet, slept well, and had multiple walks! Thank you so much Alan!

Alan was great with Daxter. 140lb doberman is a handful, he and his partner Bryan handled him well. Constant updates and good communication. Very happy with the Day Care.

I cannot thank Alan and Bryan enough for the exceptional care they provided Poppy. This was Poppy’s first time being boarded and her experience was one filled with cuddles, kisses, naps, outdoor walks when the weather allowed. They were so attentive to Poppy that they picked up in her little quirks and knew when she needed to be let out, when she was hungry, when she wanted to have a chill day and when she wanted to play. Alan and Bryan have 2 fur babies of their own named Etta and Nia whom Poppy got along with extremely well. I am so grateful to Alan, Bryan and the pack for such an amazing positive experience for Poppy’s first boarding. They certainly exceeded my expectations. Their daily updates put my mind and anxiety at ease as I know she was being cared for in the same way I would have cared for her. Thank you thank you thank you!

Left my dog Poppy with Alan, Brian, their dogs Etta and Nia for the first time. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my fur baby. Alan made sure Poppy was comfortable in her new environment, took her for a walk and made her feel at ease. Poppy loved playing with Etta and Nia and everyone seemed to get along nicely. Alan made sure to give me frequent updates with pics on how Poppy was doing. By the looks of it she seemed just fine!

Schedule
I currently am working from home predominantly. More often, I'm available most weekdays with some notice. On weekends we tend to stay home or go on hikes with our pups. So we are able to take care of any boarding needs on the days I am home. If we have any adventures planned for the day, all our canine companions join us in all the shenanigans 😜

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have 2 initially reactive dogs that do settle down and end up being friendly with structured introductions. They just need some time to see other pups as part of the pack. We have fostered and boarded dozens of other pups with no issues. Can crate dogs but will always be keeping an eye out on them as I work in the same area the dogs hang. Should you be experiencing a financial pinch, life happens, so please let me know and we can discuss a pricing option that may work. My husband and I are more interested in connecting and supporting doggos (and their humans) than viewing this endeavour as a revenue source.
Pets
A typical day
We have access to a fecend backyard for play but also have tons of green spaces in our neighbourhood for longer walks. We are also avid hikers and can engage other dogs in this activity should it suit their energy levels.

- If your dog has any special needs or if they have any concerns getting along with other dogs, it would be good to know in advance. Our place would be ideal for dogs that love the company of other dogs and are not aggressive. On weekends and even weekdays, I may invite friends with dogs over for brunch/ lunch/ dinner, and let the dogs have their play date in the backyard. We always keep an eye on them, but should we need to be extra cautious due to any behaviour issue, please alert us to that in advance. Other details can be sorted when the humans connect. All my dogs have their vaccines up to date and I will need confirmation that any client doggos I take also have their shots up to date as I can be boarding a couple of dogs simultaneously and want to ensure a safer environment for all.
