Senior cat parent & dog lover!
I started pet sitting for my neighbors and I have great, admittedly food driven, relationships with every one of my friends' dogs! (I always bring treats to share!) I do as much as I can for my 17 (almost 18!) year old cat, Ben. Over the past 9 years I've administered oral medication, both through a vial and pills, and adapted to his unique litter box preferences. I've also learned how to recognize when he wants to be active and similarly, the behaviors that indicates he is done and wants his time alone.

Safety, trust & environment
With a senior pet, I've become very attentive to changes in his behavior or habits and quickly respond when I notice something doesn't match his normal behavior. I keep his water fountain topped up with fresh water, food always available and clean up his litter multiple times per day.

Alan did an amazing job watching my cat for the weekend! Check-ins were punctual and thorough, and he was extremely communicative and pleasant to work with. Will definitely look for him again!
Alan has been great with our dog. He is patient with her and brings the treats she likes that make her so happy. We trust Alan completely with our pup and highly recommend to anyone!

I split my time between Rover and searching for my next full-time role. I'm available everyday from lunchtime through the evening for one or more visits per day!
