Hello, I’m Alaina! I’ve cared for dogs and cats for decades! I had a dog of my own for 14 years until he crossed the rainbow bridge in 2024. I joined Rover as a way to still be around puppers and kitties! I can love your fur baby as if it were my own. I have many toys and pet furniture to make your baby feel right at home if they stay with me. I am a big lover of all types of animals and I have a lot of experience with caring for special needs animals. I can help to out your mind at ease while you are away, you pet could not be in more loving hands. I am happy to send updates regularly and provide any support you need to feel assured during their stay in my home.

I treat all animals as if they are my own children. I am attentive to detail and work to always understand every animal with compassion. I can guarantee a safe, friendly, and fun environment for any animal. I love to play with and take walks with pets. There is a dog park available for use outside of my apartment complex that is often occupied with other animals if your pet is friendly and energetic. There is also private walking spaces available if your pet needs a more private space to play and potty. I am very flexible to the needs of your animal and can provide around wide range of care and love.

Alaina was the best! We took a day trip to Charleston and she watched two dogs for us. She is super kind, attentive and goes above and beyond!! We felt very comfortable leaving our pups with her. Would definitely book with her again :)

Schedule
I work from home so I am available to take regular potty breaks and walks around the property. I am very flexible to the needs of your pet and can provide around the clock care and attention in my home. I work an 8-4 schedule during the week and open availability on the weekends as needed.

- If your animal has any allergies or sensitivities it’s important to inform me ahead of time so we can avoid any unintended reactions. If your animal is not friendly to other animals or humans please let me know in advance so I may ensure to provide a schedule that will avoid run ins with anyone else or will not host any other pets during their stay. I’m happy to accommodate special needs request if given ahead of time. I encourage a meet and greet for every first time client prior to our booking to ensure it’s the right fit for everyone and all our expectations are aligned.
