I am flexible and comfortable lounging with a couch potato or entertaining high energy pets. My personal pets are crate trained, enjoy learning new tricks, going on long walks, and relaxing on the couch. I keep all dogs on a leash, to prevent any accidents and train them in basic obedience. I keep my pets well socialized and watch mannerisms closely to avoid any aggressive or uncomfortable situations.

It is important that I understand anything that will upset the pet as well as what their favorites are. In addition, energy level is equally as important, I know my dog would hate to go on a three mile run and would love nothing more than to sleep on the couch.
A typical day
I love working with pets whether it is on new tricks, obedience, or just relaxing. I work hard to find interesting new walking paths with new adventures waiting! I love learning the pet’s favorite things to do and engaging in those activities.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with pets of all kinds. I have worked caring for and training dogs, cats, and even exotic animals. I have experience working with many species of all ages as a zookeeper!

Alaina was great with the pups. She spent time with them and even took a day off work to be with them. I would recommend her and definitely use her again.

Alaina was absolutely great. I have senior dogs who both get eyedrops and one has poop accidents. She took great care of them and I would definitely hire her again. I didn’t worry one bit about them while we were gone.
Alaina is amazing! She responded quickly to our last minute house sitting request, and promptly scheduled a meet and greet. We were rather nervous as this was the first time a non-family member would be watching our dogs and staying at our house. This nervousness faded quickly as Alaina provided frequent updates that included pictures and videos. We came home to happy dogs who barely knew we were gone and the house the same as we had left it! We will definitely be booking with Alaina again in the future.
